Each week I’ll be picking the best drama, comedy and sci-fi/fantasy moments from the shows of the prior week. They may sometimes be equipped with some of your favorite ships or tear-jerking moments, so keep reading if you are still not over what happened on your favorite TV show this week!

Drama: Whiskey Cavalier, “Czech Mate” – Deadly revenge

Edgar (Tyler James Williams) got his quick revenge on Tina (Marika Dominczyk) after finding out that she was working with the enemy. His moment to quickly get back at her for calling him a weak link to the team was great. I loved how the scene moved slowly up to the point where Edgar turns and shoots her after she thought that their plan was so well done and untainted. He definitely isn’t the weakest link and this showed just how much he isn’t.

Comedy: American Housewife, “A Mom’s Parade” – Two little words.

All it takes is one little “thank you” to get Katie (Katy Mixon) back on board with wanting to do for her family again. This musical episode was so fun and I loved the last number the most. After feeling unappreciated the kids finally gave Katie the one thing she was looking for– appreciation. I loved that Taylor (Meg Donnelly) realized how right her mother was when she was about to do something dumb with the Joshes. She heard her mother’s voice and realized that maybe she does need her mother.

Sci-fi/Fantasy: Supergirl, “The Quest for Peace” – Lex Luthor’s final words

Lena Luthor (Katie McGrath) finally had the biggest kept secret revealed to her by her dying brother. Lex (Jon Cryer) tells her with his last breaths that Kara (Melissa Benoist) is Supergirl. The way Lex dug the metaphorical knife into her heart with every word he spoke was visible all over her face. Seeing her watch all the times she had been fooled by Kara so that she could be kept away from her friend changing into Supergirl made my heart beat so fast just knowing how this was going to affect her. It hurt to see Lena look so defeated and betrayed by her friends. I know from this point on her views of them will be heavily jaded. McGrath and Cryer did amazing work with this scene and it was a bitter and telling way to end their season.
