Top 3 TV Moments – April 12 – April 18
By: Malasha Parker
Each week I’ll be picking the best drama, comedy or reality TV and sci-fi/fantasy moments from the shows of the prior week. They may sometimes be equipped with some of your favorite ships or tear-jerking moments. So, keep reading if you are still not over what happened on your favorite TV show this week!
Drama: Riverdale, “Chapter Seventy-Four: Wicked Little Town” – BARCHIE!
So, the couple I’ve wanted together since episode one finally happened (well kind of) on this week’s Riverdale. The messiness of it all is definitely coming towards them in the aftermath, but you guys…Betty (Lili Reinhart) and Archie (K.J. Apa) kissed! Yes, they’ve kissed before, but this time was definitely different. Their flashbacks from the previous episode brought it all back for me. Their feelings are finally coming to the surface. It took them long enough to get here. The two sang a song together that brought out all the fire between them. I think our “Barchie” endgame may, finally, be coming.
Comedy/Reality TV: The Last O.G., “Started From The Bottom” – She reminds me of you.
Shahzad (Dante Hoagland) tells Shay (Tiffany Haddish) why he likes the girl he’s dating. He tells her how she’s smart and kind, but tough when she needs to be. This moment was just simply sweet. When he finished his list, he told his mom that the girl reminded him a lot of her. She agreed. It’s always nice when your mom approves of the person you’re dating.
Sci-fi/Fantasy: What We Do in the Shadows, “Resurrection” – l’m going to live forever, or not.
When Topher (Haley Joel Osment) starts acting abnormally, Guillermo (Harvey Guillén) thinks he’s turned into a zombie. Well, when his limbs start to fall off and he keeps dying and coming back to life, I think it’s safe to say he’s become a zombie. It’s hilarious to watch Guillermo try to calmly get Topher to back off. These two were great together! It only took Topher falling off the stair balcony, falling in a pit and more to get him to finally die.
