Top 3 TV Moments – August 8– August 13

Each week I’ll be picking the best drama, comedy or reality TV and sci-fi/fantasy moments from the shows of the prior week. They may sometimes be equipped with some of your favorite ships or tear-jerking moments. So, keep reading if you are still not over what happened on your favorite TV show this week!

Drama: Modern Love, “The Night Girl Finds a Day Boy” – A rhythm.

Jordan (Gbenga Akinnagbe) and Zoe’s (Zoe Chao) relationship was so great to watch in this beautiful episode of “Modern Love.” Watching the two navigate through this unconventional relationship and only being able to see each other for small amounts of the day was an interesting take on those who find love. Zoe’s condition only allowed her to be awake when most were asleep. It caused many problems for her and her relationships. The final moments for the night girl and the day boy allowed a beautiful moment for Jordan to tell Zoe that they could work on things and that he didn’t want to give up such a special relationship.

Comedy/Reality TV: Grace and Frankie, “The Roomies” – Money, Money, Money, Money!

Robert (Martin Sheen) and Sol (Sam Waterston) had to stay with Grace (Jane Fonda) and Frankie (Lily Tomlin), which caused a few issues for the ladies. One of them being trying to figure out how to hide all their money from the feds. They succeeded, or so they thought, by hiding the money under chairs and sending them back to Robert and Sol’s place. However, Robert finds some money accidentally, creating a hilarious moment and also causing them to scurry in fear even more. 

Sci-fi/Fantasy: Titans, “Barbara Gordon” – The start of a new beginning. 

The Titans are back and the vibe is feeling a little new! Dick Grayson (Brenton Thwaites), Kory Anders (Anna Diop), Gar Logan (Ryan Potter) and Conner Kent (Joshua Orpin) all showed off their skills while fighting at the beginning of the premiere. While the scenes have always been explosive, they had a new ambience with new powers being revealed and gorgeous suits. It was thrilling to watch and had me excited to see what this long-awaited season will bring us.
