Top 3 TV Moments – December 1 – December 6

Each week I’ll be picking the best drama, comedy or reality TV and sci-fi/fantasy moments from the shows of the prior week. They may sometimes be equipped with some of your favorite ships or tear-jerking moments. So, keep reading if you are still not over what happened on your favorite TV show this week!

Drama: The Resident, “Out For Blood” –  I got your back!

Devon (Manish Dayal) decided that the hospital needed doctors like both himself and Hawkins (Matt Czuchry). After a heated argument, Devon ultimately decided that everything they were doing was more important than the unfortunate outcome. You could see the moment where Devon’s mind changed and he decided that he was going to stick by his colleague and make the decision to have Hawkins’ back. The storm is definitely not over for these doctors though. They may have gotten through this battle, but they still have a lot of people gunning for Hawkins’ demise.

Comedy: Shameless, “A Little Gallagher Goes a Long Way” –  Parenting ain’t easy.

Lip (Jeremy Allen White) has been struggling with being a new father. He meets a new friend (played by Idara Victor) at parenting classes who has been giving him parental guidance. I’m glad Lip decided to attend the class and get some help on how to handle a newborn. He’s been stressed out and seeing his pal in the baby swim classes only made it worse. The swimming scene was so good because Lip was freaked out at seeing her dip the other baby into the water. He wasn’t ready to let his own child do that, but it definitely opened him up a little to let go some of his fears. She knows a lot more about newborns and being a new parent than he does, so this is a great friendship for him to have. I hope we get more of scenes of them and him attending classes. Maybe he’ll make it to a swim class and actually get in the water next time!

Sci-fi/Fantasy: Legacies – “It Will All Be Painfully Clear Soon Enough” – An adorable subconscious.

Simu-Landon (Aria Shahghasemi) was the highlight of this episode. He was pure and precious, just like you would imagine a subconscious, in love, would be. I loved all of his moments, but the one I enjoyed most was the one spent with Hope (Danielle Rose Russell). Him telling her how Landon really felt, but wasn’t willingly (or ready) to say it to her made their moment special. He was unfiltered and it showed the connection the two had even though it wasn’t all of Landon. Simu-Landon served his purpose, but he was fun to have around for a little while.
