Top 3 TV Moments – January 31 – February 5
By: Malasha Parker
Each week I’ll be picking the best drama, comedy or reality TV and sci-fi/fantasy moments from the shows of the prior week. They may sometimes be equipped with some of your favorite ships or tear-jerking moments. So, keep reading if you are still not over what happened on your favorite TV show this week!
Drama: Chicago Med, “When Your Heart Rules Your Head” – A kind heart gets a great loss.
Noah (Roland Buck III) decides to let a patient end his life after hearing the love story of a patient who wanted to die with his wife. The result of allowing it to happen earns Noah a ticket out of Chicago Med. It was a very difficult decision for Noah to make and would have definitely caused issues with more doctors had they known what exactly he did. In the end, he was okay with leaving Chicago Med.
Comedy/Reality TV: Call Your Mother, “New Car, New Job, New Jean” – Stop! No more!
Lane (Austin Crute) telling Freddie (Joey Bragg) and Jackie (Rachel Sennott) that they need to stop treating their mom, Jean (Kyra Sedgwick), as if she’s just supposed to only take care of them all the time was my favorite moment. After seeing Jean come to terms that maybe her children were taking advantage of her a little, having them realize it and get told by someone who saw it first hand was refreshing to see.
Sci-fi/Fantasy: Charmed, “Someone’s Going to Die” – The end’s beginning.
After thinking they’ve done all they needed to, the final moments of the episode revealed that this is only the beginning of chaos for Macy (Madeleine Mantock), Mel Vera (Meloni Diaz), Maggie (Sarah Jeffery) and Harry (Rupert Evans). With Maggie’s vision and feelings of someone dying, it is making the women using their powers and figuring out what’s going on that much harder.
