Each week I’ll be picking the best drama, comedy or reality TV and sci-fi/fantasy moments from the shows of the prior week. They may sometimes be equipped with some of your favorite ships or tear-jerking moments. So, keep reading if you are still not over what happened on your favorite TV show this week!

Drama: Vincenzo, “Episode 20” – “Evil is prevalent and vehement.”

One of the best K-dramas so far in 2021 ended this past week. The finale delivered a satisfying concussion with excellent performances just  just like every other episode before it. In the end, Vincenzo (Song Joong kii) says, “I’m still a villain who couldn’t care less about justice… There’s one last thing I’d like to say from a villain’s perspective. Evil is prevalent and vehement.” These words summed up the entire show and the character development of Vincenzo so well. He was the man who came from the mafia and had very different views before he got involved with Cha Young (Jeon Yeo been) and the Geumga Plaza residents. Although he’s still going to be a villain, he’s going to be the bad guy to protect people who are wronged. He’s going to take out the scum and corruption instead– be there for the ones who can’t always go up against evil. Vincenzo was displayed as the perfect anti-hero and the writers never sugarcoated his role throughout the series. His final words showed just how well an anti-hero can be both good, bad, flawed, and loved.

Comedy/Reality TV: Everything’s Gonna Be Okay, “Regal Jumping Spider” – What does normal really mean?

Matilda (Kayla Cromer) and Drea (Lillian Carrier) end up in a cabin together and it causes many issues to come up. After some meltdowns between the two, Drea admits that she wanted them to be able to get through hardships and spend time with each other independently to prove that just because they don’t do “normal” couple things, they could still make it as a couple. The moment was really sweet and showed softer sides to the girls.

Sci-fi/Fantasy: Jupiter’s Legacy, “By Dawn’s Early Light” – These words may lead you in the right direction or maybe in your own direction.

Brandon as The Paragon (Andrew Horton) kills what they believe to be Blackstar (Tyler Mane) near the end of the premiere episode. The moment shows a point of progression of Brandon’s strength and what it’s fueled by in that moment– anger from his dad’s disheartening words spoken earlier. It will be interesting to watch his story throughout the season and seeing these words cause him to turn down a path of whether or not to follow his dad’s code.
