Each week I’ll be picking the best drama, comedy or reality TV and sci-fi/fantasy moments from the shows of the prior week. They may sometimes be equipped with some of your favorite ships or tear-jerking moments. So, keep reading if you are still not over what happened on your favorite TV show this week!

Drama: YOU, “Swing and a Miss” – Unexpected Sexcapades.

After coming to another standstill in their marriage, Joe (Penn Badgley) and Love (Victoria Pedretti) agree to have a wild night with Sherry (Shalita Grant) and Cary (Travis Van Winkle). But, of course, it turns bad because Love’s jealousy gets the best of her and she runs out while Sherry and Joe are in the middle of something. When she and Joe get downstairs their argument travels and Love reveals that she killed Natalie. They end up having to chase and fight with Sherry and Cary to keep them from exposing their secrets. The scene was thrilling and wild to watch. Their fate seemed to be written after what they did, but things turned out differently for the two. The season was so good and getting thrilling and interesting scenes like this well into the series is always great.

Comedy/Reality TV: The Baby-Sitter’s Club, “Jessi and the Superbrat” – Tough love.

While Jessi (Anais Lee) is struggling with her love for ballet, she gets into some arguments with her mom about how she isn’t sure the way she’s doing ballet is enough for her. When she gets yelled at in front of Mary Anne (Malia Baker) by her mother, she feels even more insecure about her position in the next performance. But like the great friend that Mary Anne is, she gives Jessi some good advice about how to come to terms with her feelings towards ballet and that everyone would still support her. Mary Anne brings the rest of the girls to the show and it helps Jessi see that she doesn’t always have to overdo it to be appreciated and loved. She just needs to continue to enjoy ballet and she’ll always be known as doing her best.

Sci-fi/Fantasy: Day of the Dead – “The Thing in the Hole” – They’ve been awoken.

Lauren’s (Natalie Malaika) immediate reaction and actions towards the zombies was so exciting to watch. I loved how her scene of killing the undead man happened right in front of the family at her first official hosting of a funeral. It was definitely a horrifying experience for the family, but it also left a little room for a comedic moment. The stunned faces, but a serious Lauren who is just fighting for her life. I loved the moment so much and seeing her fight the undead for the rest of the season will be cool to watch.
