Top 3 TV Moments – September 19 – September 24
By: Malasha Parker
Each week I’ll be picking the best drama, comedy or reality TV and sci-fi/fantasy moments from the shows of the prior week. They may sometimes be equipped with some of your favorite ships or tear-jerking moments. So, keep reading if you are still not over what happened on your favorite TV show this week!
Drama: Blood & Water, “Mayday” – Negative
Fikile (Khosi Ngema) brings the DNA test results to the party to open with Puleng (Ama Qamata). When she opens them, they find out that the test results are negative and Fikile immediately blows up at Puleng for her accusations. Puleng stands stunned and you can tell right away that she is not able to believe the results that she sees on the paper. So much was already happening by episode two and seeing what happened with a few characters before, she was right to assume so. The rest of the season is sure to bring about some shocker.
Comedy/Reality TV: Home Economics, “49ers Foam Finger, $7” – And it’s good!
Tom (Topher Grace) gets a moment on the field after making it to the game and not having a clue what was actually going on. It was sad to see him get yelled at by his brother (Jimmy Tatro) for not knowing much, but seeing him make it on the field was awesome. I’m glad he made the kick and was able to show his brother that just because he doesn’t know who Jerry Rice is or what the downs actually mean, he can still come out and enjoy time with his family and their friends.
Sci-fi/Fantasy: Y: The Last Man – “Karen and Benji” – Alluring Fantasy.
Agent 355’s (Ashley Romans) moment on the stage was so well done. From singing to dancing, the scene provided an alluring moment for the episode. The dark single light setting was stunning and made the moment stand out even more amongst the episode. I gave off a vibe that was both eerie yet calming. I truly enjoyed watching it.
