Q) How did the role to play Melvin come to you?

 

A) I got the opportunity to audition for the role from my agent, went to the audition and the rest is history!

 

Q) How would you describe Melvin in your own words?

 

A) Melvin is a very shy warlock that feels a bit out of place in this magical world.

 

Q) You’ve been a part of this cast since Part 2. Has anything surprised you about the experience or Melvin’s arc?

 

A) It’s all been a surprise to be honest! Melvin was only meant to be in one episode, so every episode is a surprise to me! I’m so incredibly grateful for it all!

 

Q) Knowing that this is the final installment in the “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” story, how are you feeling post-filming and going into its release?

 

A) Bittersweet! I loved working with everyone so much, but I’m also super excited for fans to watch it. Like I said, Melvin was only meant to be in one episode so I’m so grateful for this whole experience but sad it’s over.

 

Q) What has been your favorite part about playing Melvin?

 

A) The bowties! [laughs] But my favorite part has been working with the incredible cast and crew!

 

Q) Is there anything that you took from the set as souvenirs to remind you of your time on “CAOS?”

 

A) Unofficially, I may have a souvenir. Not allowed to say what though. [laughs]

 

Q) What has been your all-time favorite scene to shoot on the show?

 

A) Any scene I got to do with the whole cast. Melvin was in a few big scenes with lots of the cast and we always have so much fun on those days!

 

Q) In Part 4, Sabrina decides to get herself back out there and goes on some dates. She ends up going on a date with Melvin. How was working with Kiernan Shipka? Did you think Melvin had a chance with Sabrina? 

 

A) Working with Kiernan is always amazing. She works so hard and she is so amazing. I did!!! I think Melvin and Sabrina would have been cute!

 

Q) What have you taken away from working on this show?

 

A) Have fun! We were always laughing on and off set and that’s something I’d love to carry through to any project I do.

 

Q) What would you like to say to fans of you and your work?

 

A) Thank you thank you thank you! We’ve put so much love into the show and fans have reciprocated that tenfold! Thank you for watching and for all the love you have sent to me and the rest of the cast and crew. <3
