Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

 

A) Sublime, The Beatles and my daughter Cailin.

 

Q) What is the feel and vibe for your upcoming album “Acoustic?”

 

A) The vibe is every song is its own moment. If I couldn’t beat the original, it didn’t go on the record.

 

Q) What was the most challenging part of making this album?

 

A) It took three years. When we started, it was just meant to be me and a guitar. What we ended up with is something entirely different.

 

Q) What do you think it is about your song “Celebration” that fans are really connecting to?

 

A) I’m not sure, but I like.

 

Q) What was it about the John Legend song “Heartbreaker” that made you want to cover it?

 

A) My best friend, Sam Black, told me I should cover it. So, I did.

 

Q) What can fans expect from a live Unwritten Law performance?

 

A) Something different every time.

 

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

 

A) My daughter.

 

Q) What can fans do to help promote your music?

 

A) Come to a show, buy a record and share it with friends.  Same as it ever was!

 

Q) You are a part of social media. Why is that such an important way for you to connect with your fans?

 

A) Snapchat is the future.
