Q) As a music producer and DJ, how would you describe your sound?

 A) In one word: EDM (electronic dance music) but it’s a mix of progressive house and rave-techno sounds.

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) Nicky Romero, Tiesto, Maddix

Q) Talk about the story behind your new song “Back for More.”

A) There is no exact story. The idea behind it was to go more in the rave direction instead of a pop song and just do something different to what I’ve been doing for the last few years.

Q) How did you come to team up with EXA for the track?

A) The song was already finished in 2024 and was sent to labels. After a few weeks, SKINK asked if I would like to work with EXA.

Q) What do you think it is about the song that fans connect to?

 A) I think the most important thing is that people like the song. Anyone who is open to new things and listens to electronic music can all connect.

Q) What is your typical songwriting process? Is it different when it comes to someone adding a vocal to the track?

A) I don’t do any songwriting myself. As soon as the production is finished or a basis is available, I think about whether a vocal would fit and whether it would go more in the sampler direction or whether I should work with a singer/songwriter.

Q) How much of a hand do you have in the production of your music?

A) In itself 100%. I work with a team but I produce what I like. Of course, you also look at what’s popular, but for the most part I do what I stand for.

Q) Do you have plans for a full album or EP in the works?

A) An album or EP is not on the agenda at the moment. There will be a lot of new songs coming out, but no album or EP.

Q) Where are some of your favorite places to perform and what makes those locations so significant to you?

A) Whether I play for three hundred, three thousand or thirty thousand people doesn’t really matter to me. Sometimes the smaller clubs are the best because there’s just a completely different atmosphere. But venues like Ministry Of Sound, which is simply a cult club, is something special that I really appreciate and feel because it simply has a unique history in terms of electronic music.

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

A) I’m open to everyone. [smiles] Of course, producers like David Guetta, Tiesto, etc. would be an absolute enrichment and wish but I’m completely open.

Q) You’ve performed for a number of incredible DJs and EDM artists. Who are you currently listening to and why do you dig them?

A) In general, I listen to very different music and artists and not just the ones I’ve played with. But one that I follow regularly is TImmy Trumpet. I was allowed to play the warm up for him twice and he is just a unique showman. [smiles]

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) To all those who support me or possibly rediscover me, THANK YOU. I appreciate it very much and am grateful for every support and follower.
