Why Should I Watch? From the Gay Women Channel comes their first web series, ‘Til Lease Do Us Part. I’m sure some of you are wondering why I’m reporting on it now but for those who don’t know, the magnetic Hannah and Joanne will be reprising their roles as Mikka and Shannon in a second season thanks to the Kickstarter that helped launch the channel’s upcoming feature film, Almost Adults.

When we meet Mikka and Shannon it’s nothing but drama from the get go as they find out they’re locked into their lease after just breaking up…with each other. The former girlfriends find themselves dealing with learning how to cohabitate with their ex as they move on with the rest of their lives.

I think the best part of this week’s pick is the raw truth behind the humor. We’ve all had relationships that ended whether or not we wanted it to and we know that days after are always the hardest. Going back and forth between the, “what if’s,” and “maybe I should stay,” moments. The series hilariously shows us both sides of the break up as Mikka and Shannon try to gain some normalcy between them but as soon as one of them starts going on dates, all that maturity and, “I’m above it,” attitude is quickly thrown out the window. It’s a series that’s for sure to keep the laughs coming while probably giving some of you flashbacks of ex’s from the past.

Where Can I Watch? The great news is that the entire first season is available to watch below! The bad news is having to wait for season two but don’t worry too much because their YouTube channel has all sorts of behind-the-scenes and other treats for you to binge yourself on until the next season!
