What To Watch This Week

Sunday:
Succession – Media Magnate Logan Roy is celebrating his 80th birthday. He shocks his family when he announces that he will not retire, but instead stay on as CEO of Waystar/Royco. This upsets son, Kendall, who has been waiting to take the reins and is mid negotiation for purchasing a digital-media company. Let’s see how this plays out! (HBO, 10pm ET/PT)
Pose – It’s 1987 and we are in New York. Blanca Rodriguez can finally pursue her dream of becoming a house mother. With the newly formed House of Evangelista, Blanca begins competing in the House Ballroom scene against former friend/new rival Elektra Abundance. (AMC, 9pm ET/PT)
Monday:
The Fosters – It’s time to celebrate! There are some major reasons to give cheer as we pick up a year after the Spring finale of “The Fosters.” Tune in the next few nights for the series finale episodes. (Freeform, 8pm ET/PT)
Dietland – Two words: Julianna Margulies. This lady boss returns to television in a series based on a novel by Sarai Walker. The show is about a young woman, Plum, who is the ghost writer for a successful magazine editor. However, our heroine is recruited by a coworker looking to turn the beauty industry on its head. Complicated, I know. But let’s see how this goes. (AMC, 9pm ET/PT)
Tuesday:
Younger – In the Season Five premiere we meet back up with Liza as she attempts a return to Empirical. She hopes that she’ll be able to pick up where she left things, but there is a change of plans when Charles announces a new project. (TV Land, 10pm ET/PT)
Humans – In the season premiere we watch the future of human and synth-kind come in jeopardy once more. Can both be saved? (AMC, 10pm ET/PT)
Wednesday:
Masterchef – With Forty-three cooks in the kitchen it’s now time to whittle them down to just twenty-four competitors. Each take on a mystery box challenge that will feature one home state ingredient. (FOX, 8pm ET/PT)
Real Housewives of New York – It’s all going down tonight…for Luann that is! Last week we saw the dash cam footage of her Palm Beach arrest and this week we watch the fall out for her. (Bravo, 9pm ET/PT)
Thursday:
Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger – In Freeform’s newest sci-fi series, we meet teenagers Tyrone and Tandy. After falling asleep one evening, the two awaken to find they have newly acquired superpowers that seem to be linked to one another. Go on… (Freeform, 8pm ET/PT)
American Woman – Meet Bonnie Nolan, a housewife in the 1970’s. When she discovers that her husband has been having an affair, she decides to raise her two daughters on her own. Throw in a couple of gal pals who help Bonnie change the face of an era in need of some female empowerment. (Paramount, 10pm ET/PT)
Friday:
Life Sentence – It’s the penultimate episode of “Life Sentence” Stella urgently hopes to speak to Wes. The only problem is that a problem arises at the coffee bar that keeps her from trying to get to him. (The CW, 9pm ET/PT)
Sense8 – It’s the series finale and we reunite with all of our favorite Sense8 characters to say goodbye. Tonight we pick up where we left everyone – fighting against the BPO. Here’s hoping for a happy ending! (Netflix)
