What To Watch This Week

Sunday:
American Gods – Season 2 picks up after post Easter’s party with Mr. Wednesday on his search to get the Old Gods to go to war. Mr. World has his own agenda for revenge and Technical Boy is occupied hunting down Media. (Starz, 8pm ET/PT)
Now Apocalypse – This sexy series kicks off with us getting to know Ulysses who is trying to figure out how to make his way in LA. His friends Ford, Carly and Roxanne are in a similar situation. When Ulysses begins having dreams he takes as premonitions he wonders if it’s the weed at fault or something more sinister happening. (Starz, 9pm ET/PT)
Monday:
Black Lightning – Lynn offers advice to Wendy, a former pod kid, on how to make do in a world that’s brand new to her. Other pod kids may not be as lucky as they find themselves in danger. (The CW, 9pm ET/PT)
The Good Doctor – It’s the season finale and Dr. Shaun Murphy is in peril. After finding himself in the midst of a barroom fight, he makes his way to St. Bonaventure in hopes of getting treatment. Plus, Dr. Park and Dr. Lim butt heads over the medical care for an elderly woman. (ABC, 10pm ET/PT)
Tuesday:
MasterChef Junior – Twenty-four mini chefs from all across the US head to the MasterChef kitchen hoping to make something that will impress the mentors. First up are breakfast and lunch challenges. Next, the kids must find out how many perfect banana split sundaes they can make. (FOX, 8pm ET/PT)
NCIS: New Orleans – A terrorist with a thirst for revenge on Hannah is back in NOLA. Her family must be placed in protective custody in order to keep them safe from the suspect. (CBS, 8pm ET/PT)
Wednesday:
The Goldbergs – Mama Goldberg has been so focused on her cookbook lately that when she gets a chance to host a mother-soon cooking show on public access TV she recruits her baby boy Adam to lend a hand. (ABC, 8pm ET/PT)
Empire – Scandal has never been more prevalent with this series and now that it returns from Winter break we pick up with feet back on the fire. Lucious and Becky have found their way in the middle of a data mining scandal and it’s up to the Lyons to prove their innocence. (FOX, 8pm ET/PT)
Thursday:
The Good Fight – Season 3 begins with Diane still trying to balance her work life and her sanity. Adrian and Liz find themselves struggling to deal with a world where stories carry more weight than fact. Plus, Lucca is balancing being a new mom and having a love life and Maia is on a mission to take down a corrupt attorney (Michael Sheen). (CBS All Access)
For The People – Tina looks after a young boy when his father has an issue with ICE. Can she help stop his family from being deported? (ABC, 10pm ET/PT)
Friday:
Shrill – SNL alum Aidy Bryant finally gets her own series! Meet Annie (Bryant) who wants to change her plus-size life. She’s trying to jump start her career all the while managing a sick parent and trying to maintain a semblance of a love life. (Hulu)
Arrested Development – The Bluth family is back on our screens post sale of their fake businesses. With pressure mounting and Buster on trial for murder, the family’s company struggles with the idea of building a border wall that will put them in severe debt. Even Michael (who is the family fixer) feels helpless. (Netflix)
