What To Watch This Week

Sunday:

The Golden Globes – This should be interesting. Seth Meyers hosts this year’s award show and with all the controversy going on in Hollywood this should be worth the watch. (NBC, 8pm ET/PT)

The Chi – Showtime’s latest series follows an average day in Chicago’s south side. Kids are headed off to school, young adults start off on their own and older folks people watch from their porch. Don’t let this description fool you as this is truly a tough neighborhood. Watch and see… (Showtime, 10pm ET/PT)

Monday:

Kids Baking Championship – Pizza anyone? Tonight is “dessert imposters” where it’s up to the kids to turn cake into appearing like a pizza. Either way – YUM! (Food Network, 9pm ET/PT)

The Good Doctor – Shaun and his apartment pal Lea go MIA as they head out on an impromptu trip. Meanwhile, Dr. Andrews seeks the assistance of Dr. Melendez so they can take on a tricky kidney transplant for a set of twins. (ABC, 10pm ET/PT)

Tuesday:

The Fosters – Ximena and Callie are still stuck in the church as they hope for sanctuary. Can they find safety in this spiritual situation. (Freeform, 8pm ET/PT)

This Is Us – This Is Us is back tonight! The family must unite under sad circumstances as Kate has recently lost her child and Kevin has been arrested for DWI. We also head back in time to see Jack surprise the family. (NBC, 9pm ET/PT)

Wednesday:

The Amazing Race – In another Amazing Race first teams must go head-to-head in combat! Let’s see who makes it to the mat first! (CBS, 8pm ET/PT)

Chicago P.D. – Burgess is on the case! She utilizes her first criminal informant so that she can track down a pimp. Hey, two heads are better than one! (NBC, 10pm ET/PT)

Thursday:

The Good Place – Now that the humans have been saved, Michael unveils his newest design. Plus, Eleanor comes up with an idea that will have an affect on the others. (NBC, 8:30pm ET/PT)

Life in Pieces – Matt is in such a hurry to get to the fertility clinic; however, each of his family members ends up in crisis mode. This may prevent him from getting to his donation location on time… (CBS, 9:30pm ET/PT)

Friday:

Taken – It’s the Season Two premiere of “Taken” and things start off serious! Bryan Mills must fight for his life as he is stuck in a secret Mexican Prison. Can he escape? (NBC, 9pm ET/PT)

Saturday:

Saturday Night Live – Oh how we’ve missed (needed) you! Tonight the show has their first episode of the year. Catch host Sam Rockwell and musical guest Halsey. (NBC, 11:29pm ET/PT)
