If you’re looking for a sweet way to celebrate Pride – seek no further! Wunderkeks is an immigrant and queer-owned cookie bakery that has commissioned acclaimed Guatemalan artist Muxxi to create a custom designed and uplifting special edition of Wunderkeks x LOVELOUD Pride boxes and stickers that are sure to be the perfect addition to your celebration!

The Austin, Texas based cookie company, founded by Hans Schrei and Luis Gramajo, have partnered with The LOVELOUD Foundation (established by Dan Reynolds of Imagine Dragons) and plan to donate one dollar from every one dozen Wunderkeks cookies sold to the foundation’s charities – with an anticipated total donation of $30,000. These charities include Encircle, The Trevor Project, the Tegan and Sara Foundation and many other LGBTQ+ non-profits in order to raise understanding and awareness of the LGBTQ+ community!

As of June 1^st, 2021 orders are available online for purchase at www.wunderkeks.com and will be sent via 2nd Day Air nationwide. “We are happy to announce that we are partnering with Wunderkeks – who make incredible, incredible cookies – with LOVELOUD, our foundation for LGBTQ youth to celebrate them as they should be celebrated,” said Dan Reynolds, frontman of Imagine Dragons. “This partnership is amazing because everything that you buy from Wunderkeks, which are the best cookies of all time, a dollar of every dozen sold goes back to LOVELOUD, which goes back directly to our LGBTQ youth in the month of June, which is Pride month. These cookies are absolutely incredible, and the business is queer-owned by two incredibly beautiful men from Guatemala.”

We had the pleasure of getting to sample the Wunderkeks X LOVELOUD Pride collaboration and fell in love quickly! The box comes with a sweet fluffy surprise of colored cotton balls, adorable stickers and instructions on how best to consume their quality cookies (don’t be lazy, use your oven). Each box comes with a variety of three different types – The Best Chocolate Chip Cookies Ever, Inside-Out Chocolate Chip Cookies and The Everything Cookie. While each one is amazing in its own right, our staff’s overwhelming favorite was the aptly named The Best Chocolate Chip Cookies Ever.
