Young and Hungry – Young and Handsy

The episode opens with Gabi (Emily Osment) in bed, waiting for Josh (Jonathan Sadowski) to join her. He gets into bed with her and they talk about how much they love being together and with each other. However, instead of being intimate, he gives her a quick kiss on the forehead and goes to sleep, leaving her confused.

 

The next day Gabi tells Sofia (Aimee Carrero) about her problems with Josh while Sofia wants to talk about her new job as a share rider. Sofia tells her it doesn’t mean anything, but Gabi keeps going on and on about Josh. Sofia calls her on her phone to tell her that she wants to talk about her; however, Gabi keeps bringing up Josh. Sofia tells her to calm down. 

 

That night, Gabi and Josh are in bed together. He is on his computer and she is reading a magazine. He finishes what he is doing, and Gabi thinks he will want to have sex. However, he gives her another forehead kiss and goes to sleep.

 

Gabi complains to Sofia, this time while Sofia is doing her new share ride job. Sofia tells her to talk to him and not her. They agree that she will go to Josh’s, but not before they go to a drive thru.

 

Yolanda (Kym Whitley) and Elliot (Rex Lee) are trying to get tickets to see Bruno Mars. They are afraid they won’t get them because they will sell out too quickly. They sit together with their coffee when Josh comes in, saying his new app can help them get tickets. Unfortunately, the app isn’t working quite yet. Of course, this sends Yolanda and Elliot into a tizzy.

 

Gabi talks to Sofia about how she thinks she saw Josh masturbating. She is upset and thinks she isn’t good enough. Sofia is at work and has her on speaker phone, which is awkward for her elderly passenger. 

 

Josh comes downstairs, saying he won’t stop until he hits the mother lode. Gabi thinks he is talking about sex, so she massages him to make him relax. He then says he figured out a new way to do it, kisses her forehead and runs upstairs.

 

Yolanda and Elliott go to get tickets at a ticket box-office. They have Elliot in a scooter and give the story that he is injured from a Space Mountain accident. The ticket holder isn’t buying it so Yolanda keeps hitting him with her belt to prove he is indeed injured. They finally convince her and get the tickets. As they leave, she says most people fill out a form.

 

Gabi is in the kitchen rolling out dough and venting over Josh. He comes down saying he figured it out and that he feels like a teenager in his mom’s basement. He runs upstairs to take a shower while Gabi breaks his laptop with a rolling pin.

 

Gabi and Sofia are in the car where Gabi vents about how Josh is losing interest and having sex with himself. Sofia tells her she needs to be honest with Josh and tell him she broke his laptop.  Gabi keeps venting and Sofia tells her she is not well. 

 

Yolanda is in the kitchen drinking wine when Josh comes in, all happy about his app. He says he can get them the tickets, but Yolanda tells him they got them when Elliot rolls in. They tell him their scheme when Josh says he will get them their tickets the honest way. However, he realizes his laptop is missing.

 

Gabi takes the laptop to get fixed and flirts with the guy at the counter. He tells her it will be a thousand dollars to fi and, then ups it to two thousand when she finds out it is her boyfriend’s computer. They hear Josh come in to the store so Gabi hides behind the counter. Josh is confused as to why his laptop there and realizes Gabi broke it. He doesn’t know why she would do such a thing. 

 

Gabi comes out from behind the counter and lets out all her feelings, saying how she feels like he is losing interest because of their lack of sex. He explains that he was working on the app, which made him tired. He says their relationship is fine and they are stuck together. They make up and the computer guy says he will be masturbating tonight.

 

The show ends with Sofia driving Elliot and Yolanda to the concert saying what they did was wrong and that karma will get them. They disagree, giving reasons as to why this was okay to do. Yolanda then sprays herself with what she thinks is perfume but is actually mace.
