The episode opens with Gabi (Emily Osment), Sofia (Aimee Carrero) and Nick (Chris Smith) in the apartment. Sofia is in a hurry to get rid of Nick because her abuelita (grandma) is coming. She doesn’t want her to know that she has Nick staying over and that she is not a virgin.

Nick leaves and the girls discuss their ‘O’s.’ Sofia tells Gabi that she is still worried about her abuelita, but Gabi reminds her that she is an adult and shouldn’t care what she thinks. There is a knock on the door and abuelita (Terri Hoyos) is there. She and Sofia hug, but then she gets upset because Sofia didn’t pick her up from the airport.

She pulls a guilt trip and then Gabi introduces herself. Abuelita tells her she is pretty but dressed like a hooker. The girls then run to get her suitcases.

Yolanda (Kym Whitley) and Elliot (Rex Lee) are in Josh’s living room, talking about her prison pen pal. She reads some of the letters he wrote, only to find out he is being released. She freaks out, despite telling Elliott he is a changed man. The doorbell rings, causing them to freak out. However, it is only Gabi, who causes Elliot to freak out.

Josh (Jonathan Sadowski) comes downstairs, telling her they need to talk. She thinks he wants to break up, but it turns out he is a magician called “The McJoshon.” He was worried about her reaction, but she says she is ok with it. He calls her perfect and they head upstairs. She sneezes and he does the never ending hankie trick, throws confetti and yells “McJoshon!” They are in the bedroom post-coitus. Josh is happy, but Gabi is annoyed. However, he doesn’t seem to take the hint and tells her he loves her.

At the apartment, Sofia and Nick talk about the abueltia situation. They kiss when Gabi walks in, talking about Josh. Nick leaves and Gabi continues to complain. The girls realize they both need to confront their loved ones so they agree to talk to the other’s on their behalf.

Yolanda’s prison friend Big Tiny (Segun Oduolowu) comes and they make plans to go to a party. He wants to know if there will finger sandwiches there and decide to meet at seven. Elliott teases her about it, but she seems fixated on his looks.

Sofia goes to visit Josh and tells him she knows about the magic. Before Sofia can tell him that Gabi hates it, he goes on and on about how happy he is to have such a supportive girlfriend. Sofia decides to keep her mouth shut. Gabi goes to confront abuelita, who insults her again. Gabi calls her an evil old woman and tells her that Sofia is happy, they are adults and if she can’t accept that then too bad. Abuelita goes silent, so Gabi checks on her, discovering that she is dead.

Gabi calls 911 when Sofia comes home. She tells her that she couldn’t tell Josh anything because he was so happy. Gabi tells Sofia she talked to abuelita, but can’t quite say that she is dead.

Sofia decides to be an adult and confront abuelita herself, telling her she is an adult, can do what she wants and that she knows her way around the penis. Abuelita is silent, so Sofia tells her she is done and dead to her. Sofia notices she is still silent and checks on her. She freaks out, but it turns out she was only in a deep sleep.

Abuelita tells Sofia she is proud of her for finally standing up for herself and that she is ready to have a real relationship with Nick. They hug it out when the paramedics arrive, very confused as to why they were called.

Gabi goes to tell Josh she hates his magic. However, he is in the middle of a show, using Yolanda and Elliot as his assistants. After the box trick, Yolanda talks to Big Tiny and they decide to leave. People say their jewelry is gone, causing Yolanda to accuse him of stealing. However, it is just another Josh trick. Big Tiny leaves because he knows Yolanda doesn’t trust him. She goes after him, only to find her watch is gone, too.

Josh gets Gabi to do a trick with him. He keeps doing an outfit changing trick, finally getting her to admit she hates his magic. She storms off in anger. They go up to the bedroom to talk about it and she finally comes clean about hating his magic and faking it. He is glad she at least tried to be supportive.

The show ends with him using magic to give her the perfect outfit and yelling “The McJoshon” one more time.
