Austin North – I Didn’t Do It

By  |

Q) What are the recent projects that you are working on?

A) I’m just working on “I Didn’t Do It” right now.

Q) Please tell us the premise for the show and about your character Logan.

A) The show is based around a set of twins. I play Logan who has a fraternal twin named Lindy (Olivia Holt). We have three best friendsand we’re just navigating our way through high school. One of my goals is to get popular and Lindy is very driven and likes to get straight A’s. I’m pretty loyal to my friends. I have a best friend named Garrett (Peyton Clark) and  I do my own thing. Really all of us just come together and get into these crazy situations. It gets messy and crazy. We just kind of have to find our way out of these situations. We have different personalities, but come together and learn from the situations.

Q) How do you relate to your character?

A) Logan is definitely kind of chill and laid back. He just kind of goes with the flow and things just work out on their own. That’s kind of me in a lot of ways. I’m definitely laid back and like to let my laundry get to washer by itself.

Q) Since you play a twin, what is it like portraying someone so genetically connected?

A) It’s really cool! Sometimes they’ll talk about the twin telepathy and sometimes they’ll say the same thing at the same time. It’s fun! They do butt heads sometimes. They definitely show those genuine loving moments and it’s really fun.

Q) You have great comedic timing. Is it something that has come natural to you or have you had to work at it?

A) Comedy has definitely been my main passion when it comes to acting. I still like to do drama, but comedy has definitely been my main focus. This show is the bestopportunity to show that. I just love my character. He’s really fun and funny.

Q) Was there anything you added to Logan that wasn’t originally scripted for you?

A) During run-throughs or a table read I’ve accidentally said a line or a word differently than was on the paper. They end up liking some of the sayings and end up changing it. Just whatever comes naturally, they change it sometimes.

Q) What have you found to be the most challenging aspect to being a part of the show?

A) It’s just been an amazing experience so far. There hasn’t been anything super challenging. The schedule does get a little tough sometimes, but I manage to balance that pretty well.

Q) Did the chemistry with the cast come instantly or did it take some time to develop?

A) We met a year ago and we just clicked. We’ve been friends ever since. We hang out on and off set. We’ll go to the movies. I had them over not long ago for a little Christmas party and I had them over for a little premiere party. We’re always hanging out together.

Q) Will we be seeing any guest stars coming up?

A) We will be! I can’t say anything at the moment, but you will be seeing a lot of funny guest stars.

Q) You are a part of the social networking site Twitter. What kind of fan interaction have you had?

A) I’ve been really blessed. I’ve just been receiving positive feedback on the show and it’s really exciting. I know we got four million viewers for the show and I try to read every single one of my tweets. People have just been really liking the show. It’s exciting!

Q) Where can fans go online to learn more about you?

A) They can find me on Twitter and they can go tohttp://www.austinnorth.com.

Q) What would you like to say to your fans and supporters?

A) I look at every single tweet and comments on my Instagram photos. I just love the support and appreciate it so much. We wouldn’t be a show without them! I could never forget about them.
