Q) Please tell us the premise for the new Disney+ series “The Quest.”

A) It’s a groundbreaking melding of Lord of the Rings quality fantasy, but with non-actors thrown into the mix. They must band together to save Everealm from the evil Sorceress Tavora (Mel Mehrabian)! We shot it over a year ago, and it’s finally out now on Disney+!

Q) How was Prince Emmett originally described to you?

A) Initially, he was described as a soft-spoken bookworm. He was seen as the weaker of the three heirs, but was extremely intelligent and careful with who he put his faith in.

Q) Was there anything you added to him that wasn’t in that initial breakdown?

A) I think I added a bit of an edge to him! He still comes across as a more reserved character, but I really wanted to show that he is sure of himself and doesn’t allow himself to be pushed around.

Q) Were you familiar with any of your costars before working with them on “The Quest?”

A) No! I think the entire cast benefitted from being relatively green and getting to go through this experience together!

Q) Talk about the incredible wardrobe you wear for the show.

A) The wardrobe team did an amazing job and are amazing people. Every costume was meticulously handcrafted and fit to our exact measurements and I think the hard work definitely shines through onscreen.

Q) With each episode keeping viewers on the edge of their seat with adventure, what have been some of your most memorable moments or maybe favorite episodes to film?

A) My favorite moment of the show was actually a small scene that didn’t make the cut! It involved me cascading down a staircase onto a courtyard with the rest of the cast as we encountered one of Tavora’s henchmen and was done in one long shot. I see why it was cut, but it was a blast to shoot!

Q) You are a part of social media. What kind of fan response have you already been receiving to “The Quest?”

A) Great response! People really seem to enjoy the show. I just saw that a fan got a tee shirt made with my face on it, so that was interesting to say the least.

Q) What do you think it is about this fantastical series that has made it such a fan favorite?

A) I think the format is what has and will draw people in! The blend of fantasy and reality is something that hasn’t been done, and I think people want to see how it works!
