Q) It was touched on a bit on the show, but how did you get into yachting?

A) After retiring from cheerleading I still wasn’t really sure what I wanted to do with my life except that I wanted to travel. Two years ago I heard about yachting from some “yachtie” friends and decided to give it a shot. I was certified a few months later and working on my first yacht a week after that in the Caribbean.

Q) What made you want to be a part of this season of “Below Deck Mediterranean?”

A) I decided to do this season of “Below Deck Mediterranean” because I really wanted to get some yachting experience working in the Mediterranean.

Q) Were you a fan of the series before joining this season?

A) I’ve seen a few episodes of the original Caribbean seasons. I only caught up with the first season of the Med after I joined the show.

Is there much of a difference serving under a female captain than a male captain?

A) To me, there was really no difference working for a female captain than a male captain. Every leader has their own style. I’ve seen male captains be very hands on and involved with the crew and then I’ve seen captains that hardly say one word to you unless you’re a head of a department. I think as someone lower ranked on the vessel you have to be able to adapt to any leadership style and go with the flow.

Q) What are some of your most memorable moments that you can tease from this season of Below Deck Med?

A) The best part of the season for me was the places that we went in Croatia and the views that we got to see. They are exactly why I wanted to do a season in the Med and my expectations were surpassed in every way. On the crew side, you can look forward to new friendships, ending friendships, love triangles, ups, downs and curveballs. It’s a wild ride for sure!

Q) Who would you have liked to have seen return to sharing a ship this season and why?

A) I would have liked to see Ben [Robinson] return on Sirocco since I’ve worked with him before and know how much fun he could bring to the galley. Although, chef Adam [Glick] was a very welcomed change! I also would have loved to work with Julia [D’Albert Pusey] from last season. She seems fun and down to earth!

Q) You are a part of social media. Have you been enjoying the instant fan feedback you have been receiving?

A) I used to be very active back when I cheered but being on “Below Deck Mediterranean” has definitely been a lot more hectic when it comes to social media. It’s been fun having the instant feedback and seeing how many people watch the show.

Q) The fandom is very interested in your personal and professional life. How does it make you feel to have so many people invested in you and your future?

A) Yachting is an extremely interesting industry and I can understand how people can be invested and attracted to our lives.  I’m someone that is constantly moving, so working in the Med was one of the many adventures that I sought after. I actually already have a few more exciting adventures planned for the coming months that I’m super excited about!

Q) What is something that you want to be sure viewers know about you or that you’d like to clarify?

A) I think you will learn a lot about me as the season continues to unfold so I don’t want to say too much!

Q) What do you want to be sure fans know about you and your time on “Below Deck Mediterranean?”

A) I just want the fans to remember that it’s all in good fun, and I hope they enjoy this exciting ride of season two!
