Q) Please tell us the story behind your recent single “No Time to Waste.”

A) We started writing the follow up to our album There is Something Wrong sometime in 2020. That album was released in 2019 and it was a concept about how fucked up the world is and why it’s so fucked up and who is really running everything. If you go back now and read the lyrics, you may say wow they were up to something on this album that started to come to reality a year later. As the world was locked down and things fell apart, the writing process took longer than normal.  The song from a lyrical theme continues the one from the last record, but it’s even more urgent now.

The lyrics are basically asking the listener to wake up now before it’s too late. Not woke but wake up. We think the system is fake and rigged against the ninety-nine percent and the song is telling the masses we better wake up now. It’s the title track of the new album, which will be released in 2023.

Q) What has been the reaction and comments from fans and listeners to the single?

A) The reaction has been great on this song. For the thrash fans it gives them what they really want – a song of pure energy, anger and speed. We just got a YouTube first look from a guy in New Zealand that did the most amazing job dissecting the track. “Spiderhands” is what he goes by on his channel. I hear he can be really brutal, and he loved the song.  Basically, his reaction is what most of the people have when they reach out to us.

Q) The song’s lyric video premiered in Decibel Magazine. What made it the perfect place to premiere the song?

A) We came out of the scene where print zines and magazines were amazing. It’s cool to have all the online stuff and sites feature the band, but what makes Decibel Magazine special is that it’s still a print magazine and a really amazing one for heavy bands. Nothing but pure respect for Albert and the entire staff there.

Q) What kind of fan feedback have you been receiving to the song via social media?

A) It’s been growing daily. The number of views and streams from the song keep moving upward and it’s been out for nearly two months now. In a world where the attention span of the average person is shrinking it really is hard to get them to focus on a song for more than a week, so this is cool.  It’s been really positive so far.

Q) You have your third album in the works. What are some themes you’ll be exploring on it?

A) Like I said earlier, the third album will be released in 2023. The record is mixed and mastered, now it is simply getting the actual physical products back from the plants. The CD will be released in advance of the vinyl version, unfortunately.  All vinyl plants are months behind simply due to demand and capacity.  The album is ten songs and about forty minutes.  Unlike the last one, this isn’t a concept record, but the themes are similar.  It’s the final album in the trilogy.  The second single and video will be released on 12/30/2022 – it’s called “Transform & Disrupt.”  That song is about how the educational system private, and public have been used as tools to indoctrinate students into believing what the ones in power want them to believe is reality.

The album’s theme is trying to expose what’s really doing on in the world and not to be confused by what you are being fed daily.  I don’t believe in red or blue, that’s all theater in my opinion.  It’s all part of their goal of dividing the masses so they can control.  The lyrics deal with that premise.

Q) The album has a reimagining of John Lennon’s iconic song “Give Peace A Chance.” Why was that such an important song for the band to make their own?

A) We recorded this song in 2020 and released it along with the video for it back then. We have remixed and remastered it for the album. It’s the perfect final track for this record because it’s actually about hope and desire for better days.  When we decided to record a cover song, which we had never done before, we felt it needed to be a song that fell in line with what we believed to be a message that could fit our original music.  John Lennon was truly a special person and his message in that song was even more important when we recorded it. We appeared to be heading to war when we recorded it and with all the other craziness going on in the world, we believed the message in “Give Peace a Chance” was even more relevant now than ever. Obviously, we made it heavier because we are a metal band, but we also made it a little more urgent and angrier than the original.

Q) Have you come to a decision on when fans can expect to be able pre-save it or even snag a full copy?

A) They will be able to pre-save the next single in the next few weeks and we think that they will be able to pre-save the entire album sometime in January.

Q) Will you be heading out on tour for this new album or are you more excited to share some singles as a start?

A) We are playing a show in our hometown on December 10th. We are looking to play some shows in 2023. We would rather do festivals at this stage as opposed to tours. But nothing is committed yet.  We never do anything the conventional way.

Q) If we were to take a look at your music collection, who are you currently listening to?

A) Led Zeppelin

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who are fans and supporters of you and your music?

A) To all those that like our music we think you will love this upcoming album. To anyone that took the time to read this, thanks and even a bigger thanks to anyone that hasn‘t heard our music that will do it now.
