We are in Season 18 of “America’s Got Talent” on NBC! Terry Crews returns as host, while Sofia Vergara, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Simon Cowell once again grace the judges’ table.

There will be seven Golden Buzzers this season.

Trex Flips–Dinosaur gymnast: It’s like Barney decides to try out for So You Think You Can Dance….but there is something so intriguing about it…..I am actually in awe! He gets 3 yeses.

Philip Bowen–Fiddle Player: I’ve seen him on TikTok and loved him, so it is a nice surprise to see him on here.He has an amazing stage presence and something about me reminds me of Susan Boyle….they are nothing alike in terms of music, but their presence makes everything so beautiful. Four yeses.

Steel Panther–Band: I am general not into heavy metal—I can take it or leave it–but what I thought this was going to be….is not what it is at all! They are also a comedy act, which makes them even more interesting. I can definitely see them touring….maybe doing the college circuit? Four yeses!!!

A montage of rejects……

Three G–Hand Balancers: They were inspired by the franchise to do their own act. I am always amazed by these acts because I have no idea how they do it without getting hurt, let alone balance like that. I can barely balance on my tiptoes. Even though they fell, they made everything look effortless. Four yeses.

Trigg Watson–Magician: He adds technology to his act, making it all the more interesting. He grabs items from different videos, including ones from TikTok and members of the show. I never saw anything like this before, but I want to see more. Four yeses.

Kozo–Comedy: He strips and tries to land a toy airplane on his butt…..He is sent home!

D’Corey Johnson–Singer: He performs Open Arms by Journey and WOW is he good. He is by far one of the best child singers the show has ever seen and that is saying something considering the talent we have had in the past. Four yeses.

Shadow Ace–Shadow Puppetry: The act itself is a bit….odd and deals with some triggering issues, but the puppetry is well done. Shadow art is rarely seen anymore and it is good to see it back. Four yeses.

Orlando Leyba–Comedian: He jokes about life, TV, family and his wife. He is funny, but we have seen acts like this before…I am curious to see how he steps it up next time. Four yeses.

Mzansi Youth Choir–Choir: They are inspired by the late Nightbirde and sing her audition song. I am in tears the entire time….this is so beautiful and touching. They get the brand new Audience Golden Buzzer!
