The episode opens with Gabby (Kether Donahue) helping Norma (Linda Lavin) walk. However, she is not interested. Gina (Annaleigh Ashford) says she will never heal if she doesn’t walk, but Norma is having none of it.

Drew (Thomas Middleditch) comes in to say goodbye since he is going back on the road. He tells Gina he is going to the Florida Keys and Harry is coming with him. The two of them banter before saying goodbye.

After he leaves, Norma asks what is going on with them. Gina says nothing, it is not interesting and walks away.

Harry (Hector Elizondo) and Drew begin their trip. Drew wants to make some fun stops, but Harry wants to go to Wisconsin so he can spread Meredith’s ashes in the place where they got engaged. Drew agrees and turns the van around.

Norma is eating and complains that she is backed up. Gina says its from the meds, which upsets her even more. At that moment, Gina’s sister texts her. Gina gets upset because her sister only contacts her if she wants something. Norma asks her if her family knows she is wealthy, but Gina says she conveniently didn’t tell them. Gideon (Darryl Stephens) comes over with a laxative drink and tells her to enjoy it on the toilet.

Spencer (Jim Beaver) and Peter (Ben Vereen) are enjoying their own breakfast when Bert gives them turkey bacon, saying that no animals were killed. Peter tries to correct him, but Spencer tells him to let it go.

Bert (D.B. Sweeney) then asks them for birthday gift ideas for his dad. Spencer wants to know why he is asking them. Bert says his dad is their age and they might know what he would like. They give him some ideas and Bert leaves.

Bette (Jane Seymour) joins them and Spencer asks her out again. Peter tells her to give him a chance, so she agrees to go. He wants to take her to Papa John’s, which she isn’t happy about, but Peter tells her that his is where mercy comes in.

Gina meets her sister Natalie at the home, where everyone makes it seem like she is an orderly and not rich. Natalie sees through it and lets her know that she knows her secret.

Drew and Harry enjoy a fire together, but end up getting into a fight over their destination plans. Harry goes to bed upset, while Drew pouts and eats s’mores.

Gina meets Natalie (Katie Finneran) to sing, but Natalie is upset that Gina lied about being rich. She also tells her that she needs throat surgery, which is why she came to town. Gina asks when she is having her surgery, but she needs to come up with the money. Gina thinks that this is her way of asking money, but Natalie denies it and goes to sing….and has a lot of trouble.

Drew calls Gina to fill her in on Harry, who took a cab to Wisconsin. He says he was dumped, so Gina teases him about it happening again. He teases her back and hangs up.

Gina asks Norma for advice on what to do about her sister. Norma asks her if the money will matter in a few years and the Christian thing to do would be to help her.

Bette and Spencer get back from their date. They kiss goodnight and  she asks him to come in. He wants to, but ends up running away.

Gina goes to give Natalie the money, but as soon as she does, Natalie’s throat issue clears up as she sings.

The episode ends with Drew joining Harry in Wisconsin to offer him support while he scatters Meredith’s ashes. The two of them bond and decide to go to a Bavarian village.
