The episode starts with a new dropoff by the False Face Society. They are making deliveries to Black Mask (Peter Outerbridge) whom is with a hostage, Angelique (Bevin Bru). She says that he did not give him up. He does not believe it, but still needs her. After Ocean´s (Nathan Owens) disappearance they have been having issues with quality control and the making of snakebite.

Sophie (Meagan Tandy) reports to Ryan (Javicia Leslie) that she´s doing her job trying to look for Angelique after she was taken. Luke (Camrus Johnson) says that fear toxin is another ingredient they need to make snakebite and they can track it and get to Angelique, too.

Alice (Rachel Skarsten) is still at Dr. Rhyme´s (Laura Mennell) office when a patient named Jackson (Andrew McNee) shows with an appointment; however, they are interrupted by Enigma that arrived late. As soon as she walks in Alice kills the patient right in front of her. She thinks Alice wants her memories back, but the real reason she tracked her is because she wants to forget her sister. She starts talking to Dr. Rhyme as she claims erasing Kate (Wallis Day) will affect her immensely because she is Alice´s moral compass in a way. So, they start the session and she has a vision of Young Kate (Gracyn Shinyei).

Alice thinks the doctor Is toying with her and says she´s wrong about her because she killed Ocean and felt nothing, whom later interrupts the session pointing at them with a gun. Alice insists that she stabbed him and watched him die, but later finds out that the blade was dipped in Desert Rose. He asks her why she did it and if she regrets it. She gets in his head, but only to distract him. Then, Enigma recites a word and they seem to remember everything after that.

At another drop off, where directions are given in real time minutes before, Batwoman intercepts a car to realize it was actually Sophie inside on an undercover mission and, unfortunately, she burned that cover. Sophie is upset and asks Batwoman to stay out of her business. So, she goes back to Commander Kane (Dougray Scott) saying she has an update. However, there is already an Agent Tavaroff (Jesse Hutch) in his office discussing the False Face operation. Jacob says that he is putting Russell on the task force and getting her off it, yelling Sophie to get out.

Sophie goes back to The Hold Up to talk to Ryan. She lets her know about Agent Tavaroff and how he will burn down the end of the earth, including Angelique. Ryan says they could try to use her to go undercover and drive a car, so she has to know everything about it. They go to Luke for help and apparently they are pretending that they do not know each other. Although, when they are left alone he gives her comms and a new AI to drive the car.

Sophie goes to face Black Mask alone and she´s taken by him. However, Batwoman comes just in time to help her fight him. But they have to let him go because he shows them a projector with Angelique on the other side. At the end of the episode Sophie figures out that Ryan is Batwoman.
