The episode starts with Batwoman (Jacivia Leslie) throwing a GCPD officer (Paul Lazenby) through a window with a Circe (Wallis Day) android. She´s looking for Kate and this guys turns out to be one of Roman´s (Peter Outerbridge) goons. Although, he doesn´t know anything other than she went underground. Ryan comes back to the Batcave to inform Luke (Camrus Johnson), but they don´t buy it. However, there´s no hits on the facial recognition software, so finding her turns out not to be as easy as Mary (Nicole Kang) thought. There is something causing disturbance at The Hold Up. It´s Kate who´s super drunk. Sophie (Meagan Tandy) walks in asking how she is while Ryan is trying to get everyone to be a little worried about Kate.

Mary goes to get Alice (Rachel Skarsten) and walks in with Ocean´s (Nathan Owens) body still there. She just thanks Alice for saving Kate. Back at the Batcave Luke is pulling out Kate´s journals and is getting ready to give them to her. Ryan is still cautious about Kate´s state of mind, but no one seems to be listening to her. It turns out Circe is just playing them because she goes back to Roman and gives him the journals, which is basically a user manual for the Batcave. And Safiyah (Shivaani Ghai) is there too by the way, so they´re all working together.

Ryan is getting ready to move out of the loft when a stunning Sophie walks in. Ryan knows she was expecting to find Kate there instead and to jog a particular set of memories she teases. Sophie offers a pull out couch for Ryan to stay, but she already has a place in mind – her old van.

In other news, Roman is already putting an army of his own together, with a few ex-crows and a familiar face – Russell Tavaroff (Jesse Hutch) – at the center. They´re gearing up.  While Ryan is getting taken from her van by GCPD, they swipe her computer and plant snakebite injectors on her to take her to jail. She´s meeting Black Mask first. Seeing as he has the entire Gotham Police on his payroll he offers her to join him but, of course, Ryan refuses.

The Bat Team gets notification that Ryan has been framed. Sophie was with Kate so they walk in together. Mary immediately gives her the suit. Kate walks towards the weapons and takes a tranquilizer gun. She shoots them all. While Ryan is still at holding, she sees her counselor Susan (Rebecca Davis). She is insisting that the drugs weren´t hers and tells Susan that she is Batwoman. Susan does not believe her at first, but when a few agents come in to take her away she beats them up and manages to escape with a little help from Susan.

So, Safiyah is paying respects when Alice takes Ocean´s ashes to sea. She says they are now even for when Alice burned the whole Desert Rose crop and asks her to leave with her, which is happening while the Bat Team is just waking up from being shot. Circe is on her way to collect everything from the Batcave. Ryan confronts her, but she´s unsuccessful, so Circe just walks away. That happens while Alice turns down, coming back to Coryana with Safiyah. It turns out she´s turning Desert Rose into millions with Circe´s help. Then, Alice stabs her in the back with her own dagger.
