Batwoman – Power

The final episode of Season Two starts with Black Mask (Peter Outerbridge) doing a live stream on every channel to get his message out to all Gotham citizens while Kate (Wallis Day) is putting on the Batwoman suit. Ryan (Javicia Leslie) is writing on the journal she started after Kate, remembering how the suit was stolen by Circe. Mary (Nicole Kang) is also making a to do list to fix everything that´s wrong, but Ryan walks in to ask how they were literally robbed of everything. Luke (Camrus Johnson) insists on going after Black Mask first and then Circe. Let´s remember that he has all of the super villains souvenirs that Circe stole from the Batcave and he´s using Bane´s venom right now into Tavaroff (Jesse Hutch) but it does not go smoothly. So, he needs to be taken to Mary´s clinic. She notices a Snakebite attached to his arm. She figures out a way that may bring Kate back.

Sophie (Meagan Tandy) is helping by bringing all the supplies she can and reminds Ryan that she´s Batwoman. However, their sweet moment is interrupted by Alice (Rachel Skarsten) asking where Kate is. They hear the riot in the street. Sophie stays to help an injured Major Akins (Chris Shields) and Ryan goes to Alice for help. Alice says that she´s already paying a worse sentence inflicted by Safiyah when she killed Ocean (Nathan Owens), but Ryan´s not buying it. So, Alice says that she found out how Ryan´s biological mother died at childbirth and how it was her fault; however, that comes with a hard slap across the face by Ryan.

They manage to infiltrate Black Mask´s hide out. They find Circe there and start fighting her by she´s running and Ryan goes after here so Alice stays to fight Roman. She´s distracting him so she´s able to throw the Joker´s gas on his face. Luke finds a suit made by his dad which comes in handy when Mary is being chased by a crazed Tavaroff after the Snakebite she took. Ryan goes after Circe in the Batmobile until she´s finally able to get caught up with her. They fight some more until Alice arrives to put the Snakebite into Circe´s face. They are both thrown from the bridge into the water. While under Alice has a hallucination of Ocean and then a vision as Young Beth (Ava Sleeth) and Young Kate (Gracyn Shinyei). She manages to pull Kate out of the water. With Ryan´s help they perform CPR on her. However, when she regains consciousness and sees Beth it seems Alice is taken away by GCPD. Ryan has her day in court and officially released from parole.

Back at Wayne´s Tower Kate, Mary and Luke are catching up. Kate already has plans and they fully support her. She´s going to look for Bruce and Alice is not in those plans. Ryan and her have a sweet moment. She tells her that Batwoman is hers and asks her to take care of the team. The last stop is seeing Sophie. They kiss goodbye. Timing is not their thing. Ryan goes to Arkham to see Alice so she can see what justice actually looks like, but not without Alice dropping a bomb on her first. She tells her that her mom is still very much alive. We are also teased with a few Easter eggs in the last shot as we might see Penguin or even Poison Ivy next season.
