Cassie Steele – Sorority Surrogate
Q) What is it about Sorority Surrogate that made you want to be a part of it?
A) I really liked the portrayal of seemingly normal characters and the lengths they’ll go to get what they want.
Q) Is there anything that you added to the role that may not have been in the script?
A) Maybe a “well..” or an “um..” before a couple lines. Possibly a nostril flare.
Q) What is your favorite aspect of your character?
A) My favorite aspect about her is probably her strength and absolute belief in doing the right thing. You’d think there would be more courageous people in the world, but it’s just too easy to be a coward.
Q) What was the most challenging part of the role?
A) Honestly? I have this thing with my eyebrows and my expressions can be really animated…Most of the time I focus on relaxing my face so I look like I’m reacting to things like a normal person.
Q) Did the chemistry with the cast come naturally or did it take time to develop?
A) It’s not very often chemistry is absent on set. Working with people who love what they do and want to make the project as best as it’s potential is rewarded with inspiration and often fulfilling friendships.
Q) What is your most memorable moment from filming?
A) When craft services kindly passed around a box of popsicles before a scene and I couldn’t have one because my tongue would most definitely turn blue.
Q) Are you looking forward to the instant fan feedback social media will be providing when the movies airs?
A) I’m excited to hear what everyone thinks and connect with all the fans who have been in a similar life threatening situation.
Q) Why should viewers take their time to watch Sorority Surrogate?
A) Because it’s awesome. Also, it’s a wonderful interpretation of strength and justice…doing what’s right.
Q) Is there anything else about the movie or other upcoming projects you’d like to share?
A) If you notice my tongue is blue in any scenes, it’s because of a popsicle. Not because my tongue is dead in my mouth. 🙂
Q) Are there any updates about your music?
A) Cutting together my music video…my single “Mad” drops April 1st.
