Q) What are the recent projects you are working on?

A) I am working on a film now that is my favorite story I’ve ever been involved with. I have been sworn to secrecy, but I can tell you that it is directed by Preston Whitmore.

Q) Please tell us the premise for the film Pregnant and Deadly.

A) Jealousy and sorrow drive a would-be mother to madness, causing her to set her rageful sights on another would-be mother.

Q) How was Amber originally described to you?

A) Amber was described to me as a stunning and fit expecting mother who is the target of another woman’s insane obsession.

Q) Were you familiar with any of your costars before working with them on the movie?

A) I was not! But after shooting this movie I am beside myself with excitement for the career my costar Sarah Minnich is poised to have. That girl is a powerhouse, a star and a kind human.

Q) What advice did director Lauro David Chartrand-DelValle offer during filming that you took to heart?

A) Lash (his preferred name) is one of the kindest, most supportive directors I have ever worked with. He empowers his actors, he communicates what he’s looking for brilliantly, he’s a genius at stunt coordination and he is an actively practicing stoic. I LOVE Lash!!!

Q) What kind of prep work went into the stunts you preformed for the film?

A) I generally maintain a very fit lifestyle in preparation for roles like this one! As far as the actual stunts, Lash (who has an extensive background in stunt coordinating and performing) made sure everyone knew what would be expected of them well in advance of the day it would be shot. And on the day he walked us all through it like a dance instructor would choreograph a dance and it all went flawlessly!

Q) How did you shake off a long day of filming?

A) I try to fit in meditation as often as possible throughout the shoot day, but really, the biggest priority for anyone on a movie set after a long day is to try to fit in some SLEEP! Recovery is crucial.

Q) What were some memorable moments you had while filming?

A) *spoiler alert* The moment Jessica is thrown through the window at the end was a fascinating scene to film. The stunt glass looks and behaves much like real glass, and to see a human body go through it was shocking!

Q) What makes Pregnant and Deadly such a great fit for the Lifetime network?

A) Our film is deliciously deviant and dark, which is perfect for Lifetime. The theme of motherhood is also a popular one on the network, so Pregnant and Deadly will fit right in.

Q) You often take on dramatic roles. What makes this genre so interesting to you?

A) I’ve been told I have resting sad face, so I think it just works. [laughs] I’d love to do more comedy in the future.

Q) We’ve loved you as Charlotte on “Revenge.” What did you personally take away from your time on the show?

A) “Revenge” changed my life in so many ways. It taught me the true power of a talented writer, which an actor is absolutely nothing without. The symbolism on that show was remarkable and it practically marketed itself because the characters were so well fleshed out. I mean, Emily THORNE (Emily VanCamp)? And then the poster with the thorned dress? It was perfect. “Revenge” taught me the importance of kindness, and the countless hours spent on set gave me a master’s course in the technicalities of working in television. I owe so much to that show!

Q) Have you kept in touch with any of your former “Revenge” castmates?

A) I still see Emily, Josh [Bowman] and Ashley [Madekwe] on occasion. Nick [Wechsler] and I go to concerts together every once in a blue moon. Madeleine [Stowe] and I remained very close during and immediately after the show, although we speak less now as she is very busy. I will always love that cast!!

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) THANK YOU! There would be no TV shows without our viewers. I am so grateful for the genuine love I am shown by those who watch my work! It truly is so touching. And to all of Brazil I say obrigada!
