A) Jay Z, Drake, P. Diddy, Slim, Master P, Gucci Mane
Q) Talk about the story behind your new song “Let’s Go to Vegas.”
A) We were supposed to go to Vegas, but we didn’t end up going because we were making this song.
Q) What do you think it is about the song that fans connect to?
A) It’s relatable to everybody it’s a good feels song it has good vibes and people all over the world make plans just to go to Vegas.
Q) What is it about Vegas that makes it the perfect place to party?
A) I feel like it’s one of the only places in the world where you can get drunk, fuck strippers and do drugs and no one will judge you.
Q) How did you come to work with J Young MDK on the song?
A) I met J. Young through a really good friend of mine, who I actually met out partying in New York. He connected us and it was a mutual vibe in a genuine relationship and friendship. So, it was easy to go to the lab and work with J Young.
Q) What is your song writing process? Do you need music before you can create lyrics?
A) Well, I can come up with a song in multiple different ways sometimes. I could just be in the car just humming a note or melody or I could be in the studio just listening to some beats and come up with the melody afterwards. It’s just all about how I’m feeling in the moment.
Q) Darius Samuel produced the track, but how much of hand do you have in the production of your music?
A) I handpick all my own beats. My beats are the ones that I handpick myself. I hear hundreds of beats every week and I pick the ones that I like or really feel connected to. Darius Samuel is an amazing producer and I’ve been working with him for a while and he’s one of the only producers that I really am fucking with right now.
Q) What advice did he give you with “Let’s Go to Vegas” that either surprised you or that you took to heart?
A) He created the vibe of what “Let’s Go To Vegas” is when he made the beat. He also helped with the structure of the song where to put the bridge in the hook and what not. We collaborated on everything.
Q) Will there be a full album or EP coming in the near future?
A) Yeah, I already have a whole album recorded and I’m still constantly recording music, but for me it’s all about timing of when to drop it. I’m still working on my hype. I’m still working on my name and I’m still working on my brand, so I want to definitely drop at the height of my buzz.
Q) Where are some of your favorite places to perform and what makes those locations so significant to you?
A) I love to perform at clubs in really big venues with a lot of people. I just love feeling the energy of the crowd and making sure everyone has a good time.
Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?
A) Drake and Future would be the two artists I would love to work with.
Q) What album/band are you currently listening to and why do you dig them?
A) Right now, I’m listening to a lot of Lil Baby.
Q) You are a part of social media. Why is that such an important way for you to connect with your fans?
A) Well, the fans really listen to music of people that they like, so if you can’t connect with your fans and get people to like you then you’re not gonna like your music.
Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?
A) I appreciate you and I love you and I’m so thankful that you’re following me on my journey and I really do hope that you love and enjoy my music. Please stay tuned and keep up with everything I got going on. It would mean the world to me if you let everyone know about my music and who I am and what I got going on.
