Q) What are the recent projects that you are working on?

A) Just finished directing my first film Fabulous Filipino Brothers and touring with my book From Rufio to Zuko.

Q) What made you want to be a part of the film Rag Doll?

A) The director Bailey Kobe got in touch with me and explained the story about this woman fighter and how he wanted to shoot it. I was intrigued and really dug Bailey’s work.

Q) How was your character originally described to you?

A) The love interest, a bit quirky…

Q) Was there anything you added to your role that wasn’t in the initial breakdown?

A) I thought the fact he was dealing with his own mental health made him infesting. Just working with Shannon [Murray] was great, good chemistry there.

Q) What were some of your favorite moments from filming?

A) I remember the last shot of the film and Bailey [Kobe] jumped on an ice cream cart to shoot a tracking shot! Pretty innovative and fun camera work.

Q) What message do you hope viewers take away from watching this film?

A) I hope people can have empathy for those going through it with mental health issues. Also appreciate women in the fight game.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who are fans and supporters of your work?

A) Thankful for all those who’ve followed my work over the years and love working with all the new artist I get to create films with like Bailey and Shannon.
