The episode starts with a flashback to the Season 3 Finale after the Legends manage to take down demon Mallus after turning into giant Beebo. Gary (Adam Tsekhman) is cleaning up the pile of blue fluff as a figure appears. Gary recoils in terror saying it can’t be him. But who is the mysterious figure?

In the present on the Waverider Constantine (Matt Ryan) tells Sara (Caity Lotz), Charlie (Maisie Richardson-Sellars) and Ava (Jes Macallan) about the Loom of Fate, an ancient artefact that can alter someone’s life without wrecking, creating a paradox. Constantine figures that they can give Astra (Olivia Swann) a life with Natalie as if she never died. Charlie refuses to help saying she destroyed the Loom for a good reason and Sara agrees with her that the Loom is too powerful to belong to anyone. As she takes out Khan’s sword and figures they can use it to kill the Encores, Gideon (Amy Louise Pemberton) announces that a new Encore has been detected in Salvation 1874. Sara discovers that none of the Legends are there and Constantine admits that he convinced Ray (Brandon Routh) to do something new with his life.

At the House Ray shows Behrad (Shayan Sobhian) the engagement ring he plans to give to Nora (Courtney Ford) and puts it in a bowl of mousse for her. The doorbell rings and Nate (Nick Zano) runs in to say that Nora is there. Gary answers it and finds Nora there with Pippa (Madeline Hirvonen). Ray comes out and Nora is impressed that he went all out for date night. Pippa is busy on her tablet and Nora admits that they’re still trying to work out her biggest wish.

Nate finds Constantine in the study on the ship and Constantine says that he’s trying to find an alternate to the Loom. When Nate suggests that Constantine asks him as a historian, Constantine does it. Nate says that Professor Edward Shackleton was obsessed with the Loom and thought a piece of it was buried beneath the South Pole. Once Constantine leaves to head for the South Pole, “Nate” changes to her base form of Charlie and figures her scheme should keep Constantine distracted.

Sara and Ava put on Old West costumes and go to get Mick (Dominic Purcell). Mick is in his quarters yelling. Zari (Tala Ashe) comes out of her quarters and says that Mick has been in his for days yelling. Mick comes out and says that someone is trashing Rebecca Silver online. He goes back in and Sara tells Zari to help Mick with his problem.

Back at the house Gary is cooking dinner when he fades briefly out of existence. Sara and Ava travel to 1874, two years after they were there the last time, and find Gary tied to railroad tracks. They untie him just in time and the women realize that it’s the Gary from 2018. Ava tells him to say who did it and then courier back to the Time Bureau. Gary simply says that “he” stole his courier.

Nora answers the door and finds her father Damien (Neal McDonough) there. She hugs her supposedly dead father and realizes that he’s the Encore. Damien admits that he’s up to his villainous ways, but after two years in Hell he had to see his daughter first. He figures that she’s a sorceress based on the house and explains that he found her because of the GPS in her PalmerTech watch.

Running to the kitchen Nora finds Ray. He says that Gary has disappeared. Nora tells him that Damien is there. Ray figures that he’s an Encore and they both decide that Sara will kill him with the Hell Sword. Nora tells Ray to keep Pippa comfortable so she doesn’t summon Nora.

Zari goes over the trolling about Rebecca and tells Mick that bad reviews comes with being a celebrity. She advises Mick not to stoop to the troll’s attention and suggests that one signed book and the troll will be a Rebecca Silver fan forever.

Ray brings Pippa onto the Waverider and shows her a video of his favorite childhood show “Mr. Parker’s Cul De Sac.” He assures Pippa that she’ll like it. Mr. Parker (Erik Gow) sings about friendship and his cul de sac and Pippa tells Ray that it’s dumb. He suggests that she give it a chance and gives her $20 to stay quiet. Nate and Behrad are waiting outside and think that they should have a bachelor party with Ray as the guest of honor. Ray tells them that Damien came back from the dead and ruined the evening. He also asserts that they can’t let Sara interfere.

Sara and Ava come back from their mission to 1874 and Sara promises to kill Damien if she sees him again. Gideon then announces that she has detected new Encore activity at the house in 2020.  She has also received a call from a “wild dog.” When Ava wonders what that means, Sara casually says that it’s nothing.

Zari reads one of Mick’s books and says that it’s pornographic. The troll burns the swag book that Mick and Zari sent him. She takes it personally and composites his location from the metadata. They track him to Central City in 2020 and a girl, Lita (Mina Sundwall) answers the door. Mick reads Zari’s script saying that he’s Rebecca Silver and asks who she is to judge others. Ali (Lisa Marie DiGiacinto) comes to the door and says that she lives there and explains that Lita is her daughter…and Mick’s. Zari records the whole thing on her camera as Mick faints in shock.

Nora sticks with Damien and shows him around “her” house. Sara and Ava arrive outside with Sara wielding the Hell Sword. Damien tells Nora that for people like them sometimes it’s kill or be killed. Sara and Ava overhear him and he hears them moving outside. Nora gets Damien to the study and then greets Sara and Ava as they come in the side. She saw them outside as well and asks them as her friends to give her one night to let her handle it her way. Sara wonders what “her way” is and a minute later Nora introduces Sara and Ava to Damien as her “hench-people.” Damien sees the Hell Sword and as he examines it. Nora says that they picked it up for her and tosses it in the fireplace poker basket.

Later Sara and Ava go to the kitchen to drink. “Wild Dog” calls Sara again and she ignores it but Ava notices. Nora enters and thanks them for playing along as Damien calls for his cocktail. Sara wonders why she shouldn’t kill him. Nora points out that Damien is her father. She says that she can make a potion to strip Damien of his powers so no one has to kill him. Gary emerges from a cabinet and explains that he was cowering. He offers to serve dinner to Damien with the potion. Sara and Ava are reluctant yet Nora invokes Book Club. Ava gives her one of them, making them promise to let Damien live if he’s a normal man by the end of the night.

Back on the Waverider Constantine dresses for the South Pole and heads past Nate who wonders what he’s doing. Nate is clueless, which causes Constantine to realize that Charlie posed as him earlier. A furious Constantine says that he’ll do it his way.

Sara and Ava make dinner while Gary makes Nora’s potion. “Wild Dog” calls again and once Sara leave, Ava answers posing as Sara’s receptionist. She asks to what the call is in reference.

Sara serves crostinis while Damien and Nora sip martinis. Constantine arrives and demands to know what’s going on. Damien goes out to confront him and they recognize each other even though they’ve never met. They blast attack each other with magic, but Nora steps in and tells them to stop. Constantine says that it’s his house and Nora admits that technically it is but actually it’s theirs. She kisses Constantine and whispers to him to play along. Constantine does so and Damien says that he’s happy she has a powerful warlock in her life.

Ray and Pippa continue watching the show. Ray finally explains that Nora is busy with her father. Pippa points out that Nora is hiding Ray from her father and Mr. Parker says that people can love whoever they want and not be ashamed. Ray insists that she isn’t and Pippa summons Nora. Nora appears and admits that she’s hiding Ray and telling a thousand lies to make sure Damien doesn’t kill anyone. Ray suggests that she should tell Damien the truth; however, Nora points out that the true means she’s a slave to the whim of children and schtupping an Eagle Scout. Undeterred Ray points out that the longer Nora lies the harder it will be when the truth comes out. She begs Ray to give her one night and save the guilt trip. He agrees.

Once Mick wakes up Ali apologizes for never telling Mick about Lita because he was in jail. Ali explains that she let it slip that Mick was Rebecca Silver and they hooked up at the graduation. Lita tells Mick that she hates him. Ali hopes now they can get to know each other. Mick wipes their memories, but Zari stops him from wiping hers. He says that they were never there and leaves.

Nora comes back to see Damien and Constantine getting along and trading stories. Constantine tries to get Damien to say where the Loom is, but is told that he needs a Fate to put it together. Sara is serving and hints to Constantine to drop it. Ava drops clues to Sara about her time away. Damien tells them to sit and spill. Ava angrily says that someone forgot to tell their girlfriend about a job offer they got to work in Star City…permanently. Sara sits down with her and states that she’s considering it. Damien warns that long-distance relationships can be tough. Nora yells for the next course just as Gary finishes making the potion and pours it into Damien’s mousse.

On the Waverider Ray tells Nate and Behrad what’s going on between him and Nora. They point out that the lies will have to continue. Nate blurts out that Ray is rushing into things. Behrad points out that Nora is embarrassed by Ray after he hid the ring in the mousse. Ray remembers that the ring is still in the mousse and rushes to the house.

Gary serves the mousse, but Ray arrives to try and motion to Nora to not let Damien eat it and find the ring. She doesn’t understand his pantomime. Ava actually finds the engagement ring. She looks at Sara confused and Sara shrugs to say it wasn’t her. Nora stares at Damien, touched, and Damien figures the cup was put in front of the wrong person. He asks Constantine if there is something he’d like to inquire.

Constantine plays along and proposes to Nora. Damien breaks into tears that Nora has found the love of her life. Nora refuses, much to Damien’s shock. She states that she can’t lie to him anymore. She explains that she’s a fairy godmother, Constantine isn’t her boyfriend and it isn’t her house. Nora tells Damien that Ray is her boyfriend and he loves her. Ray steps out and asks Damien if he can have his blessing. Damien is shocked that Nora deceived her own father. He also notices that his cup of mousse is boiling from the potion. He assumes that she tried to poison him and figures Ray is to blame. He telekinetically chokes Ray, Ava and Constantine. Sara gets the Hell Sword, but Damien mystically immobilizes her. The Hell Sword glows green, revealing its power, and Damien takes it.  He then realizes its true power.

Nate and Behrad watch TV with Pippa. Charlie comes in and points out the Encore alarm is going off. The Prognosticator says that the Encore is at the house and Pippa wishes that she could go. Nora grants her wish and they all teleport to the house where Constantine has freed himself and is blasting Damien. Damien figures that Constantine is marriage material. Nora wants him to stop insulting Ray. She says that it was her idea to poison Damien, but  he accuses Ray of twisting her.

Nate and Behrad tell Pippa to stop Damien by making a wish. She wishes that they were all on Mr. Parker’s Cul de Sac and the wish comes true! Ray is Mr. Parker, complete with sweaters and musical numbers. Damien and Nora are there as his friends. Ray suggests that they discuss their problems. Damien and Nora argue, so Ray calls in Gary The Unspeakable Train Abomination.

Charlie and Constantine are in a separate room with puppets of Sara and Ava. They apologize to each other for making the other feel bad. Ava says that she used to want to settle down, but she’s been having too much fun as a Legend. The puppets suggest that Constantine and Charlie discuss their powers. Charlie says that she smashed the Loom so people can be free. He warns that her sisters might go after the Loom for the wrong reasons. He says that after he used it to change Astra’s life then he’ll help Charlie destroy it forever. The two of them shake hands on the deal.

Ray answers the door. Bike Messenger Behrad arrives with the Safe Space Sombrero. He puts it on and Damien speaks in gibberish until he puts the sombrero on. He says that Nora’s life is ruined because she’s with the Legends. Nora tosses the sombrero away and tells Damien that her life is her choice – not Ray’s. Being raised by a demon cult wasn’t her choice and working with kids helps her cope with that. Nora likes who she is and she isn’t going back. Nora just wants her father to be proud of her and he says that he is and hugs her.

Ray hugs them both, and the sun with Nate’s face giggles. Pippa wishes to be with her own family and releases Nora. Everything goes back to normal. Gary isn’t afraid of trains and Damien shakes Ray’s hand. Nora tells Ray that she accepts his ring and they kiss. She says that they should get married right now.

The wedding soon starts with Nate as the best man. Damien presents his daughter and Sara performs the ceremony. The couple kiss as everyone applauds and high-fives. Afterwards everyone dances. Damien thanks Ray for everything he’s done for Nora. Ray says Nora is incredible on her own. His new father-in-law admits that he could never make Nora happy and asks Ray to let Nora belong in the real world… and they should be together. Damien hugs Ray and tells him to do the right thing or he’ll come back to get him. He then laughs and says that he’s kidding… but not really.

Mick arrives to have some wedding cake and Zari comes over. He says that Lita is better without him and the two of them are both pains in the asses. Mick figures that Lita isn’t in juvie because he’s out of her life and Zari asks if he’s sure about that.

Damien and Nora dance. Damien tells his daughter that she’s inspired him to forego evil. He figures that it’s time for both of them to move on to the next chapter but promises that he’ll never be far from her. Damien hugs her and says that he loves her. Nora says that she loves him. He then walks away but turns to watch Ray and Nora go over to join the others. Crying, Damien smiles and gets his coat.

Sara approaches Damien and says that he was released from Hell to cause pain and suffering, but instead he checked in on Nora. Damien admits that he wanted to make sure that Nora was okay and she is because of the Legends. He doesn’t want to bum Nora out with the eternity of pain and torture he’s going to undergo at Astra’s hand. Damien offers his hand, but Sara refuses to shake it. Damien admits that he can’t forgive himself, so he understands that she’ll never forgive him for killing her sister.

Once Damien leaves Sara notices that he took the Hell Sword with him. She runs out just in time to see Damien kill himself with the Hell Sword, disintegrating into the air.
