Lita (Mina Sundwall) is walking home through a park when Mick (Dominic Purcell) arrives and apologizes for missing her “thing” because he was in Hell. He suggests that they spend the weekend together at the roller derby. Lita isn’t too thrilled with the idea and tells Mick to leave. Mick walks off, uncloaking the nearby Waverider, and tells Lita that it’s a time machine. Lita is impressed and asks if she can go inside.

The Waverider lifts off as Mick explains the benefits of time travel. Constantine (Matt Ryan) is talking with Astra (Olivia Swann) and she tells him that as soon as she has her Mother back from the Loom she’s gone off the ship.

Meanwhile, at the bridge Charlie (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) is meditating, preparing to use the Loom, while Nate (Nick Zano), Ava (Jes Macallan) and Zari (Tala Ashe) watch her. Gary (Adam Tsekhman) walks in with a dog explaining that he has a letter from his therapist allowing him to have an emotional support animal. Ava isn’t too thrilled about the idea as Gary tells her he named him Gary Jr.

Constantine and Astra come in. Charlie tells them that she’s almost ready. She asks who is first and Zari reminds Constantine that he said that he’d bring Behrad (Shayan Sobhian) back. But Constantine says that he made a promise to Astra. Nate sides with Zari. Ava interrupts and says they’ll all get a chance, but Charlie needs to help get Sara (Caity Lotz) out of her coma first.

Charlie chooses Behrad and they go into the library, putting “protective goggles on” (black sunglasses). Charlie takes the three rings out of their case and casts the ritual to unite them into the Loom. The Loom assembles and Charlie summons a wave of reweaving energy. She manipulates the threads and finds Behrad’s, but it resists her and the energy backlash knocks her out the way. The energy spreads through the ship, taking out the power.

Gideon (Amy Louise Pemberton) switches to backup power and Charlie figures that she needs her two sisters to help her. Constantine offers to do research to find an alternate way to use the Loom and Zari volunteers to go with him. However, Gideon says that the time drive is offline, including the jumpships.

Ava goes to the Medbay to sit with the comatose Sara and says that things are bad. She figures that the chances of getting Behrad back have never been slimmer and admits that she could use Sara. Sara wakes up, but her eyes are foggy and she says she can’t see anything. Ava asks Gideon to run a diagnostic, but she’s unable to with the power levels so low. Ava worries that it might not be temporarily and takes Sara’s hand. Sara sees a future vision of the ship and Ava lying dead on the floor. She pulls back her hand in shock.

Sara puts on a blindfold and Ava asks her what happened. Sara dismisses her earlier reaction to just coming out of a coma and says that she knows how to fix the ship as she was trained blindfolded as an assassin. Ava leads Sara out and Sara wonders what she missed. Mick comes up and introduces Lita, but when Sara shakes her hand she sees Lita kneeling over Mick’s dead body and draws back. Ava notices Sara’s reaction and asks what’s going. Sara quickly changes the subject when she hears Gary Jr. barking. Ava explains that Gary has an emotional-support animal.

In the study Lita wants to look around the ship and Mick tells her that she should study. She’s explains that she’s studying the French Revolution and asks if anybody on the ship knows history. Mick brings Nate in who says that he’s a historical detective and asks Mick to get them some snacks.

Ava asks Constantine to check on Sara. Wen he touches her she sees a vision of the future with Constantine impaled through the chest. He notes that Astra is on the ship, which Sara insists that Astra leave. Sara tells Constantine to be at Astra’s side 24/7 because she can’t be trusted. Constantine agrees.

Mick is forced to make snacks because the fabricator is down. Gary comes in and tells him Mick that parenting is about doing the crap work, but they’ll know that in their heart that they appreciate it.

Sara directs Ava through making repairs to the ship. Charlie joins them and asks if there are any side effects to the blindness. She doesn’t believe Sara’s denial and Sara admits that she didn’t want to upset anyone. Sara explains what she saw when she touched Ava, Lita and Constantine. Charlie states that she’s seeing the future. Charlie tells her that it’s not impossible that she gained the gift of foresight, as Sara blurts out that they all die. In fact, Ava dies in the outfit she’s wearing. Charlie figures that Astra is responsible.

Zari comes in and says that Astra just tried to manipulate her into them using the Loom on her mother first. Gary also enters and says that the three rings are gone. Gideon can’t play the video due to the power loss, but figures that they have a saboteur aboard.

The Legends imprison Astra in the brig. She says she figured that they’d blame her for the first thing that went wrong. Constantine says that he was with Astra the entire time, but no one believes him. Charlie says that Astra spent too much time with her sisters to be trusted and leaves. Constantine tells Astra to stay put while he casts a spell to find the saboteur. Astra says that she never should have trust him. Constantine wonders if she did or if she ran out options. He then leaves.

Nate goes over the other teammates with Lita as she wonders if Mick has a superpower. Mick notes that he has a fire gun. Nate tells Lita that Mick keeps the ship running and funds the entire operation through the act of stealing. Lita points out that Mick went to prison for stealing. Nate asks Mick if he stole a souvenir from Marie Antoinette. Mick admits that he did and Lita asks to see them.

Zari goes to the brig and tells Astra that they both lost relatives and want to use the Loom to get them back. Astra isn’t impressed. Zari tries to get Astra to give the rings back. Astra figures that Zari believes she had Constantine wrapped around her finger and points out that he picked her mother rather than Behrad.

Ava and Sara try to fix the cameras. Constantine joins them and says that he can’t defend Astra by teaming up with her accusers. Sara grabs his hand and sees him dead from a shard of glass in his chest again, but this time she sees herself reflected in it. Snapping out of the vision, Sara tells Ava and Constantine that she is the one who kills everyone. Ava believes that Sara can’t kill them and Constantine agrees. Sara tells them to lock her up and not to listen to anything she says. As Constantine and Ava leave, Ava admits that she has no idea what to do and figures that Sara has lost her mind.

Mick leads Lita into his cabin filled with everything that he’s stolen and shows his daughter something from Marie Antoinette. Lita suggests that Mick should put the money in a bank and invest it. She explains how they can use time travel to profit, but Mick doesn’t agree and pushes her out and locks the door. Lita tells him that he’s a terrible father and storms off.

Zari is in the brig telling Astra that she’s looking for footage of her stealing the rings by using her alternate timeline skills to hack the backup feed. Astra asks to talk to that version of Zari and the current Zari says that one wouldn’t trust Astra either. Nate and Charlie come in and say that Sara has had herself locked up. Zari brings up the backup feed. It shows Charlie stealing the rings and flushing them down the toilet, but Charlie says that it wasn’t her. More footage shows Zari sabotaging the cameras and Nate sabotaging the fabricator. The three Legends point that Astra might have used mind control and the footage doesn’t exonerate her.

Gary enters Sara’s quarters and he gives her Gary Jr. He figures she needs his emotional-support dog more than he does. Sara agrees. Sara hears Gary Jr. say, “Kill him” and Sara breaks Gary’s neck. The dog voice tells Sara to kill them all and laughs. Sara snaps out of her future vision and tells Gary that the dog must be a demon that makes her kill everyone.

Sara goes to the bridge to find Ava and Constantine and tells them that Gary Jr. makes her kill everyone. She figures that the fact Gary is alive proves that she’s right. They don’t believe her and she asks them to take her to Gary Jr. so that she can prove she’s right.

When they go Sara’s quarters Gary is cleaning up and he says that Gary Jr. ran off. Ava tells Constantine to stay with Sara while she and Gary look for Gary Jr.

Charlie asks Zari to zoom out on all the footage to see if they can find Astra manipulating them. Instead, they see that Gary Jr. is in all of the footage barking.

Gary Jr. runs through the ship and Gary finally admits to Ava that he rescued him from Hell when they went after Astra. Ava makes a joke about her latest “Stabcast” episode about a murder called Son of Sam who said a dog make him kill people. Then, Ava realizes that Gary brought back the Son of Sam’s dog from Hell.

Gary Jr. runs into the brig. When it barks Nate hears it say that he should murder them. He picks up a stool and prepares to kill Charlie and Zari. Sara and Gary run in and Gary uses a dog whistle to stop it. Gary Jr. says that he hates hats, ties and Gary. When Gary says that he rescued Gary Jr. from Hell, Gary Jr. explains that he’s the Canine of Chaos (Andrew Morgado) and was going to trick them into killing each other, but now he’s going to kill them all himself. Everyone gets onto the force field dais as the Canine assumes its true hellhound form and then disappears.

Sara and Constantine hear the Canine in hallway. Constantine looks out and sees it crawling into an air vent. He apologizes to Sara for not believing her and they go looking for him.

On the dais, the six group members huddle together inside the force field. Astra says that she’ll get rid of the Canine. Ava doesn’t believe her, but Zari tells Astra to go. Ava gives Astra the tablet to temporarily drop the force field, but Astra brings it back up once she’s clear. Before the others can get out Astra shrinks the force field a bit and tells them they shouldn’t mess with someone familiar with torture.

Mick tries to convince Lita to come out of the library and admits that he knows what it’s like to be mad at one’s parents. He suggests that they talk about it, but Lita says that they have nothing to talk about and turns up her earphones…unaware that the Canine is climbing through the air vent above her.

Sara suggests that they use her future vision to search the ship. She takes Constantine’s hand and gets a vision of the Canine standing over the dead Mick in the library and leads Constantine there.

Lita sees the Canine above and screams. Mick breaks in and uses his fire gun on the Canine, but the flames have no effect on it. It leaps on Mick just as Sara and Constantine arrive. The Canine leaps on them and Constantine leads Sara off.

Sara uses her hearing to defend herself against the Canine. Constantine says that he needs to know it’s true name before he can send it back to hell. Astra arrives and says that the Canine’s name is Marchosias. Constantine casts the spell and sends Marchosias back to Hell.

The Legends manage to bring Gideon back online. Ava says she can smell something horrible as Gary enters the bridge covered in trash. He says he found the rings in the waste disposal unit and says that he wasn’t mind-controlled despite Sara’s assumption.

He also says he’s found himself another emotional-support animal – a rabbit named Gary Junior II. He explains he got from a mysterious carnie who told him not to feed it after midnight.

Mick tells Lita that he only wants what’s best for her and apologizes for being harsh with her before. He reads a prepared script about how the life of a criminal is bad. Lita gets it and says that she understands why they shouldn’t bond over their common interest. However, she agrees to spend the weekend with him and calls him “Dad” for the first time.

In the study Zari approaches Astra who admits that she only saved the Legends because it benefited her. Astra figures that they’re even and Zari says that they’re not because Astra let the Encore loose. She offers to show Astra around the ship. Astra refuses, telling Zari that she’s not staying long. Astra gives Zari points for trying and Zari shrugs and leaves on her own.

In the Medbay Ava asks Gideon to scan Sara. However, Gideon doesn’t detect any abnormalities. Gideon says that there’s nothing she can do about Sara’s blindness.
