The episode starts with a sequence paying homage to classic Westerns in which we learn about the Tribal Policemen back in the day known as The Lighthorsemen. During this sequence we see a tale featuring Tuklo (Dannie McCallum) who is eager to join The Lighthorsemen. Despite the Lighthorse Police denying her the right to fight due to her gender, Tuklo, using her ancestor Lowak’s (Morningstar Angeline) powers, manages to save them in a crucial moment.

We forward to the present time where we see Grandma Chula (Tantoo Cardinal) visiting Grandpa Skully’s (Graham Greene) pawn shop. He gives her and advice saying that it’s better if she let go of pride before potentially losing Maya (Alaqua Cox) forever.

Meanwhile, the bowling alley informant, Vickie (Thomas E. Sullivan), thinks of delivering Maya to Zane (Andrew Howard) for an important reward. While Maya is in the woods, she has a vision of her ancestors before being ambushed. She wakes up in the bowling alley hanging upside down, alongside a tied-up Uncle Henry (Chaske Spencer).

Then, we see Bonnie (Devery Jacobs) arriving at the bowling alley in search of Maya and Uncle Henry without knowing that they are being held captive. When discovered, Vickie and his gang temporarily release Uncle Henry, convincing Bonnie to leave. She tries to call for help, but someone grabs her.

We find out that she’s brought into the same room as Maya and they cut themselves free using a hidden knife. Bonnie talks with Maya about her absence and before their conversation is finished, they are engaged in a fight with the captors, who are unable to harm Maya for fear of losing payment. Using skate repair tools, Maya crafts a weapon to escape.

The buyers, who we will soon recognize as the D9-X shipment crew from Episode 2, kill Vickie when he realizes that Maya can’t be delivered. Maya cuts all the lights in the bowling alley, and while she fights the buyers with various bowling equipment, music is being played in the background. Then, we see Zane entering the bowling alley while holding Bonnie hostage. They prepare to execute both women. Suddenly, someone gives them an order to retreat, saving Maya and Bonnie. When escorted outside Maya ensures Bonnie’s safety.

After wards we see Uncle Henry insisting that only Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio) could have called off Zane, but Maya is sure about him being dead. Grandpa Skully gives Maya her new prosthetic leg, and the two of them share a touching moment. He then advises her to visit her grandmother. The last thing we see is Maya going back to her apartment where she finds Kingpin on her doorstep.
