Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

 

A) My musical influences have a broad range! Growing up, my dad always played U2 when we drove around in the truck. That developed a “rock” sound into my style. Another musical influence of mine is HARDY.

 

Q) Please tell us the inspiration behind your new song “Friday Night.”

 

A) The inspiration behind “Friday Night” came from an accumulation of stories and nights my friends and I had at our local bars.

 

Q) What are some of your favorite lyrics?

 

A) My favorite lyrics are anything from HARDY. Particularly his new song “A Rock.” That man knows how to write.

 

Q) What is it about this song that you think your fans can connect to?

 

A) I think my fans can connect to “Friday Night” because it’s a feel-good song and can always pick up your mood.

 

Q) How much of a hand have you had in the production of your music?

 

A) I have a large role in the production of all my music! Being an independent artist, I am very involved in every aspect of my music.

 

Q) What is your song writing process?

 

A) More often than not I just try to deconstruct common phrases and write about the simple things in life. Song writing can become unproductive when you try to force a song.

 

Q) With concerts on hold, what do you miss most about performing live?

 

A) I’m very excited to get on stage once again because I love the pre-show rush and the feeling of performing well!

 

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

 

A) I joke about this with a lot of people, but I seriously want to do a country song with Kanye West.

 

Q) You are a part of social media. Why is that such an important way for you to connect with your fans?

 

A) Social media is important to connect with fans because it’s a place for people to get to know the person behind the music they love!

 

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who are fans and supporters of you and your music?

 

A) I’d like to give a huge thank you to fans and supporters. They have pushed my first release so far beyond what I expected and then some. I constantly hear affirmation and questions about when my next song is coming out!
