Q) What made you want to be a part of “Below Deck Mediterranean?”

A) After working on other boats, I figured this would be a great way to enhance my experience and broaden my horizons. Plus, I’ve always wanted new and exciting adventures in my life and “Below Deck Med” was the perfect opportunity.

Q) Had you been a fan of the show or familiar with it before joining the cast this year?

A) Yes, I’ve always loved the show! The locations and experiences seemed to be a once in a lifetime opportunity, and I wanted to be a part of that.

Q) Were there certain parts of your life you deemed off limits to the camera?

A) Having cameras follow you around 24/7 makes it pretty hard to make anything private, but it worked for me because I’m an open book.

Q) We saw you seem to have some chemistry with Joao. Do you feel the close quarters heightened your feelings?

A) No, not at all. I always keep a level head when it comes to guys. The chemistry you see between us started off as a friendship, continued throughout the show and after filming stopped. I always knew what kind of guy Joao [Franco] was and I wasn’t the type of girl to take it so seriously.

Q) When the tips are handed out, some viewers felt that you should not have gotten an equal share because you started off slow due to being sea sick. What were your thoughts?

A) I think viewers have been a little unfair about that point. In yachting, we are a team. If one or more members are down, we come together and pick up the slack. If you keep watching, you’ll see I’m not the only one who goes “down for the count” and they still get tipped out, too. It’s going to be interesting to see how viewers react to that.

Q) There was some concern over your CV. What is it about your yachting experience that you’d like to clarify?

A) I’m a licensed bartender. I knew how to do basic laundry and knew how to make different types of coffee. While things were embellished on my CV, I feel as if I had enough experience for an entry level stewardess position on a super yacht.

Q) Talk about working with Captain Sandy Yawn.

A) She was a pleasure to work with. I’m very thankful she gave me a chance to prove myself. She’s the type of leader who can bring you to your full potential.

Q) What were some of your most memorable moments from filming “Below Deck Med?”

A) The scenery, especially Capri, and the friendships I made along the way.

Q) Who have you stayed in contact with and become friendly with from the show?

A) I’ve kept in contact and remained friends with everyone on the show who wanted to be friends. Unfortunately, only one member doesn’t want to be friends; however, I wish them nothing but good will and good fortune.

Q) You are a part of social media. Have you been enjoying the instant fan feedback you have been receiving to episodes?

A) I have! I’ve gotten a lot of support, which I treasure and am truly thankful for. However, it is the internet and you’re going to have negative feedback no matter what. You have to take the good with the bad and laugh along with the bad.

Q) What do you want to be sure fans know about you and your time on “Below Deck Mediterranean?”

A) Despite my many obstacles in the beginning, I surpassed them by sheer determination. I’m a big believer in mind over matter. I had an amazing time and would love to do it again if given the chance. I went in to this journey as my genuine self and came out of it even stronger.
