Q) What are the recent projects that you are working on?

A) I’ve actually been writing my own content a lot lately. I’m currently in the process of writing & producing an LGBTQ+ series that will likely be available on my YouTube channel! Other than that, you can catch me playing a recurring role in a new Netflix series coming out in 2020 (the name can’t be revealed yet)!

Q) Please tell us the premise for the film The Cheerleader Escort.

A) The film surrounds a girl who joins the cheer team of her new college. She thinks it’ll be a great opportunity to make friends and get involved in the school, but she ends up being placed in a very dangerous, secretive, deadly situation! A fellow cheerleader disappears and is found dead under very suspicious circumstances, putting her own life in danger!

Q) How was your character Rachel Singer originally described to you?

A) Rachel is one of the most popular and most successful cheerleaders on the team. She is extremely headstrong and motivated, determined to obtain anything she wants, even if it’s at the expense of others… and even her own dignity.

Q) Was there anything you added to her that wasn’t in the initial character breakdown?

A) All of her surface character traits were along the lines of: brash, mean, envious, etc., but I interpreted that as her overcompensating for having deeply rooted insecurities. All she wants is to prove herself and be loved, but she goes about it in a quite negative way.

Q) What kind of prep went into your portrayal of a cheerleader?

A) I have a pretty extensive dance background, as I’ve been dancing since I was four years old, but I have never actually done cheerleading. Before filming I started taking drop-in dance classes and stretched a lot to get in the groove. There are many dance elements to cheerleading, so it wasn’t too hard to pick up the choreography!

Q) Talk about working with costar Alexandra Beaton.

A) Alex and I have actually been friends since 2015, so it was an absolute blast to be able to work with her again on something! We met on the set of “The Next Step” a few years back because I was on the spinoff show, “Lost & Found Music Studios!” She’s one of the kindest humans I know. Even when she was busy focusing on her own acting work, she would often pour me a coffee in between takes without me even asking for it! She’s lovely to work with.

Q) What were some of your favorite scenes to film?

A) My favorite scenes to film were definitely the cheerleading routines. It was super fun to be able to dance while on set and work up a sweat at the same time!

Q) How did you shake off a long day of filming?

A) Long set days can be super tiring and I’m such an introvert that I need some time alone to decompress afterwards. My favorite activity to do before bed is meditating! Also, my birthday fell on one of my days off, so the girls and I went out on the town and celebrated together!

Q) What do you think it is about this movie that will make it a fast Lifetime thriller fan favorite?

A) I think what will really catch the viewers’ attention is that everything may look perfect on the outside, but little do they know the cheer squad carries a deep, dirty secret that will be shocking to everyone watching! It’s fast-paced and action-filled, so how could it not become a fan fave?!

Q) You are a part of social media. Are you looking forward to the fan feedback you will receive to the movie?

A) OMG YES! I love getting feedback from my followers on how they enjoy my film and TV projects. I don’t think they have ever seen me play a role quite like Rachel Singer, so I think people will be very shocked and intrigued!

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and the work you do?

A) I would not be where I am today without my supporters… I owe everything to them! I love having a happy little online family that supports one another and brings positivity to each other’s lives. I’m incredibly grateful to have this platform so that I can reach so many people and inspire others. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
