Q) How would you describe your sound?

A) Nostalgic, electronic and powerful.

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) David Bowie, Alanis Morisette, Rolling Stones, Lady Gaga, Paloma Faith.

Q) Talk about the story behind your new song “Freedom.”

A) “Freedom” is a battle cry of turning emotions from past trauma from anger to release. A phoenix rising from the ashes.

Q) I absolutely love the lyrics “I’m here, I’m me and I will be seen.” Have you been hearing from fans how much they really needed this message?

A) I have indeed. My fans have said that the track has given them that “fight” to overcome their own battles. They love it!

Q) How does the video for the track play into the message behind it?

A) In the video I was trying to have a sense of motion. Keep moving forward. The term “Rolling Stone” actually means someone who doesn’t stay in one place for too long. Basically someone who will keep moving and is unstoppable. I decided to dress with a military sense to convey an army behind me representing my fans.

Q) What is your song writing process? Do you need music before you can create lyrics?

A) Not always. It can change depending on the mood I’m in. I have the ability to write in my sleep so at times I record sleepy voice notes on my phone and then go into the studio the next day. I can at times find chords on my keys and write from there. It all depends how and when the idea hits.

Q) How much of a hand do you have in the production of your music?

A) I’m very hands on throughout the whole process. I create at my home studio then I book in the main studio and create with producers for every single sound and every stem in the track.

Q) With “Freedom” out now, will there be a full album or EP coming in the near future?

A) Oh, most definitely. I intend to release a new track every month until I have enough for either an EP or an album.

Q) What do you hope lingers with audiences that explore your music?

A) My originality, the messages behind the music and most of all an empowering feeling. Strength to be yourself and be who you want to be.

Q) Where are some of your favorite places to perform and what makes those locations so significant to you?

A) I love performing everywhere. For me it’s not about the location, it’s about the audience. The audience makes the gig.

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

A) Lady Gaga or Paloma Faith. Both are incredibly strong independent women with amazing musical talents.

Q) What artist/musician are you currently listening to and why do you dig them?

A) Teddy Swims. His sounds is so soulful and his trills are out of this world.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) Thank you for having my back and listening to my art. Keep your eyes open because there’s so much more to come.
