A panicky Andi (Liza Snyder) wakes Adam (Matt LeBlanc) up when she realizes they overslept. As Andi tries to get the kids ready, Adam realizes that it is Saturday. As both parents sigh with relief and go back to bed, Kate (Grace Kaufman) walks into their room to tell them that they have to take her to her volleyball game. Later, Andi is in paradise as she holds Marcy’s (Kali Rocha) and Don’s (Kevin Nealon) grandson Parker. When Adam returns home, Andi shows him how cute the baby is which makes Adam worried. Adam pulls Don aside to have a private chat in the kitchen. He tells Don that he is worried that Andi spending time with Parker will make her want another baby. When Adam tries to get Andi to let Marcy hold Parker, she assures him that she is done having babies.

Later that night, Andi admits to Adam that she wants to have another baby. Adam does not understand why she wants to have another baby when they already have three children, the youngest in kindergarten. Andi tries to get him to remember all the times she told him she was pregnant with their three children. Adam tells her that he loves their children, but he also wants to be able to watch them grow up and leave the nest so he can have some stress-free days with Andi. Adam tries to get Andi to commit to no more babies, but Andi refuses.

At work, Adam tells Don that Andi still has baby fever while Don is trying to comfort Marcy who feels she is too young to be a grandma. Don suggests Adam should gain weight so Andi will be less attracted to him. Adam knows nothing he could do would deter Andi from wanting him. When Adam comes home, Andi starts kissing him as he walks into the house. Adam calls for the kids to distract Andi, but she tells him that the kids at the grandparents’ house. Adam knows he’s trapped. He tells her that he had three McRibs for lunch, but Andi does not care. He tells her that he is “shutting down his factory,” but Andi knows that it will not take much to get her pregnant so she chases Adam around the house.

Later, Adam walks into the bedroom. Andi is lying down on the bed wearing lingerie. When he notices the tambourine, she tells him, “You shake it, I’ll dance. We’ll see where it leads.” Andi lets him know that no matter what, she is getting pregnant. She wants a baby. Now. Adam tells her to get her hands off him and walks out. When he comes back, he tells her that he is wearing seven pairs of sweatpants. He is convinced she will not want to touch him. Andi is prepared to “peel him like an onion.” Adam walks out. The next day, Adam is on edge when Andi walks in. She admits that she has been a little crazy, but she wants to explain why. Andi points out that this is their last chance to have another baby. They are getting older and the clock is ticking. Adam admits that he does not want to raise another baby. He likes the way things are now. Andi knows that things are good, but she feels the urge to have another baby. Adam tries to get her to see things his way and she agrees that they do not need to have another baby.

When Adam drops Emme (Hala Finley) off at school, she tells him that she does not want to kiss him in front of her friends. The scene is so sad that Mrs. Rodriguez (Dianna Maria Riva) feels bad for him and Lowell (Matt Cook) offers to give Adam a hug. Adam calls Andi and tells her to meet him at home immediately so they can make a baby. Both Adam and Andi feel good about trying to make a baby. Don, Marcy and Parker in tow come over to complain about how hard taking care of a baby is. Later that night, Andi admits that she does not want another baby and Adam admits he feels the same way. Andi says that Don and Marcy reminded her about the not so fun aspects of raising a baby. Andi says she will get a pregnancy test in the morning but she and Adam both know she is getting one now, even though it is raining.

When they get home with the pregnancy test, Adam is pacing as he waits for the news. One blue line. Andi’s not pregnant! They both are excited that she is not knocked up. As they think about it, they are both a little sad to know they are done having kids. As they reminisce about being parents, they think about what the future brings. Adam and Andi are watching TV when Emme asks if she can sleep with them because she is scared of the thunderstorm so they make room for her. Teddy (Matthew McCann) comes to join the family sleepover and even Kate decides to come and snuggle with her parents. Andi looks at Adam and says, “I guess we still have babies.”

In the closer, Andi and Adam are drinking wine and she is so happy that she does not have to give up wine. Marcy and Don show up grandson free and tell them about getting their freedom back. When Andi points out that Marcy is wearing a “World’s Greatest Grandma” t-shirt Marcy realizes that being a grandma is not a bad thing, but she still wants Parker to call her Marcy.
