Mom – Kalamazoo and a Bad Wedge of Brie

The episode opens with Tammy (Kristen Johnston) talking about how she is still paranoid about seeing cops and how she left the salad bar before getting her little corn cobs she wanted. Christy (Anna Faris) also shares, saying she didn’t want to go the meeting but her sober feet got her there. She notices Nora (Yvette Nicole Brown) is ignoring her.

Bonnie (Allison Janney)  also shares, saying she has time for herself now that Adam’s bar is taking off. She says she can be a little selfish now for the first time in her life, making Christy and Marjorie (Mimi Kennedy) laugh.

Christy complains about Nora ignoring her and Jill calls her needy. Marjorie says she gives her sponsees her full attention, but Bonnie says she fell asleep during her last share. Tammy says she does that during Blue Bloods too, but Marjorie says she does that to keep her from talking. Tammy fangirls over Donnie Wahlberg.

Nora leaves and Christy is still concerned that she is being ignored after trying to talk to her. All she wants is to have her say she liked her share. Wendy (Beth Hall) says she liked it and Christy says she liked hers, despite the fact Wendy didn’t share.

That night, Christy, Tammy and Bonnie are watching scary movies. Christy is freaking out, but Tammy and Bonnie are enjoying it. Christy is still upset that Nora is ignoring her. Tammy wonders if it is because she is a weather girl and parade co-host, but Bonnie calls her an approval seeker. Tammy says that she needs to be more like Bonnie.

Jill calls and they rush to help her since her house was broken into. She is pretty shaken up and plays what if. They got her spare money and jewelry. The spare money is for tips, trick or treaters and Mormons and in 20s and 50s.

The cop (Will Sasso) comes in to let her know there is no one there. Tammy says she is on parole and has an alibi. The cop is thrilled over the grill Jill has and is shocked she never uses it. Jill is worried about being alone, so they all stay over in the same bed. Christy is actually at the foot rest and wishes she could be in bed with them. Bonnie suggests she gets security. Christy suggests the cop who was on the scene, but Jill doesnt like that he noticed the grill and not her. Tammy suggests a Hells Angel.

Christy finally gets into bed and they all go to sleep on their sides…after an awkward moment between Jill and Tammy.

Christy is making chili for Nora and Bonnie thinks she is pathetic for trying to get her to like her. Christy says she did the same thing for her.

Jill sees Andy the cop watching surveillance and thinks he is goofing off. They watch some animals mate and she tells him he can have food in the house instead of bringing his own. He says she probably doesn’t have much and notices she is right. The two bond over their exes and how they coped. She got addicted and he ate. They share a sandwich.

Christy rushes to watch the weather to see Nora. She says she finally got a text from her saying she liked the chili and thinks things are changing. Bonnie still thinks she is pathetic. Nora farts on TV and Bonnie quips that she and the chili got a shout out.

At the diner, the ladies watch the farting clip on YouTube. Wendy says the same thing happened to her in high school. Bonnie says that is now #1 on her time machine list and knocked out sex with Abe Lincoln.

Nora returns the Tupperware and says she is embarrassed and talked to her sponsor. She turns down Christy’s offer to talk about it, making it clear they are not buddies.

Jill is watching video of Andy and the ladies tease her because he makes her feel safe. They think she should go for it, but she insists he isn’t her type.

Andy finally leaves and makes her promise to use the grill. The girls, who are over for movies, tease her and say that this is a romantic movie come to life. Tammy begins singing “I Will Always Love You.” Bonnie says Andy made her smile like she has never seen and insists she should go for it. Jill says that they are underestimating how shallow she is.

Christy goes to see Nora at work with a gift. She keeps apologizing, so Nora makes her do a fear inventory and tells her to stop seeking validation. She says she is just another drunk.  She tells her to like herself as they walk to where the weather room is. Christy fan girls over the sports guy and Nora tells her to cut it out. She does the weather and owns her fart on TV.

The episode ends with Jill breaking her window to get Andy to come over. She is also eating a sandwich.
