The episode opens with the ladies in the bistro. Beatrice (Lauri Johnson) gives Christy (Anna Faris) a huge ice cream sundae. She claps in excitement and Jill (Jaime Pressly) says she used to clap like that for cocaine. Christy says she was thinking about it during the meeting and Bonnie (Allison Janney) asks if it was during Wendy’s (Beth Hall) share. She says she was thinking about Sloppy Joes….are they sloppy and who is Joe? Wendy is offended and Jill says she listened to her share. Wendy asks her what she said and Jill says it was about her being glad to be sober. Wendy is glad she was listening.
Tammy (Kristen Johnston) and Marjorie (Mimi Kennedy) join them. Tammy was making amends at the prison and said two of the people she wanted to make amends with are dead…one by natural causes and one shanked in the yard. Marjorie says Tammy is making a donation to a charity in their names, but Tammy says she never agreed to that. Jill says Marjorie made her do the same when her dry cleaners closed. This led to her donating money to animals she used to wear and feeling light as a feather.
Wendy asks her who is next and she says it is her former foster parents.  She asks Bonnie how she did it, but her “way too detailed” answer makes Christy point out she is lying. Everyone agrees she should go with Tammy to make amends.
Tammy and Bonnie go to their former house and say it looks the same. Bonnie checks the mail to see if it is them and they finally knock on the door….but not before Bonnie steals a Bed, Bath & Beyond coupon. Claire (Lois Smith) answers and says she remembers them because they were the tallest girls she ever knew.
At the meeting Wendy and Marjorie say they are going to a play. Christy and Jill opt to go to the bistro. They spy two guys staring at them. The guys come up to talk and introduce themselves as Mark (Jonathan McClain) and Dane (Winston Story). The guys ask them out and admit they wanted to for awhile, but they are scared of Marjorie.  Jill doesn’t want to, but Christy agrees.
In the car Jill and Christy argue over going out with the guys.  Jill thinks it is a bad idea, but Christy is glad to be spontaneous. She also thinks it is good because they don’t have to admit they are in AA.  Jill puts on lip gloss so she still looks good.
At Claire’s house the women reminisce. However, Claire seems to favor Tammy and that upsets Bonnie. She shows some pictures Tammy made and tells Bonnie the only thing she made her was crazy. Tammy makes her amends, making Claire happy. When Bonnie tries to Claire seems to not willing to accept it and goes to get cake. Tammy is glad they did this, causing her and Bonnie to get into a fight and be scolded by Claire.
Claire gives them a tour of the house and their old bedroom.  She goes to make hot chocolate and Bonnie complains about Claire blowing her off. They reminisce about their time in the house and admit that this was the best part of their childhood. Tammy asks if Bonnie would tell her 14 year old self that it will work out, but Bonnie says her 14 year old self wouldn’t have listened.
Christy and Jill are waiting for the guys. They think they have been stood up. They decide to stay and eat like they aren’t on a date, which means onion rings.
Bonnie goes to talk to Claire about her life. Claire says that is nice and Bonnie finally admits she knows Claire and her late husband favorite Tammy and she wants to know why. Claire has her sit and tells her that Tammy was in a difficult situation because her father killed her mother. Bonnie had no idea….and Claire only knew because of the social worker. Claire says she needed Tammy to know she was loved and admits she wasn’t. This is fair to Bonnie, despite how difficult she was.  Bonnie admits that by the time she got to them she figured they would be like the rest. Claire says she is proud of her and makes her hot chocolate.
Christy and Jill enjoy their onion rings and want to do naughty things to them, especially when dipped in all three sauces. They talk about their past relationships, including Andy, Jill’s former cop boyfriend she regrets messing things up with. Jill doesn’t get why Christy is always single because she is pretty and smart. Christy jokingly asks if she will date her and they agree to date in a year if they are both still single. Christy puts it in her calendar and they go to leave…just as they guys walk in.
Twenty seven minutes later, they are back in the car thanks to a fake migraine trick Jill learned in 10th grade. Christy said it wasn’t so bad. Jill said that was because she had Mark….but didn’t like how Mark held his fork.
As they talk, a cop pulls them over. It turns out to be Jill’s ex, Andy (Will Sasso). There is a bit of awkwardness and talking until Christy fakes a migraine to give Andy and Jill alone time. The two talk and finally admit they both miss each other and share a kiss. All the while Christy is playing with the buttons in Andy’s car. She asks to be let off with a warning.
On the way home, Tammy is happy to have a picture of them from their childhood and says it is like they are sisters. Bonnie says she is always there for her and Tammy realizes she knows the truth. She says her mom was so pretty.
The episode ends with Mark sneaking out of the house only to be caught by Bonnie. Christy comes down and says they can’t go to the Tuesday meeting anymore.
