Q) How was your character Bing was originally described to you?

A) I had read the book and remembered him quite well. I think Jami [O’Brien] and our writers did a great job of connecting him more deeply to Vic (Ashleigh Cummings) and her journey.

Q) Was there anything you added to the role that wasn’t in his initial breakdown?

A) I couldn’t tell you. I have always been shy to go back to the source material when I´m working on a project. I feel there comes a time where you want to pick up the thread and then run with it. But now that I think of it, there might be one thing. I added a limp to Bing, which was a certain homage to Frankenstein´s assistant, Igor, played by the great Martin Feldman in Young Frankenstein. The limp is also a kind of helpful tool to remind me of Bing’s traumatic past and dark side.

Q) Going into Season 2, were you hoping to share more scenes (or any scenes) with?

A) I have loved working with Zach Quinto and Ashleigh Cummings and I got to have more scenes with both of them. I also got to hang out with Jonathan Langdon and Ashley Romans which I loved. Lou, which Jonathan plays beautifully, is my favorite character from the book. I´m hoping we will get another season so I work with more of the cast. Up until now Bing´s world has been quite tied to Vic and Manx.

Q) Talk about working with iconic actor Zachary Quinto.

A) Zach is a truly great actor and a genuinely nice guy. So, I am very thankful for having had so many scenes with him this season.

Q) What are some episodes or moments you can tease that fans of “NOS4A2” should look out for?

A) I would say this season is all about Christmasland. We get to meet the kids inside Christmasland, especially Manx´s daughter, Millie, played brilliantly by Mattea Conforti and experience what Christmasland is.

Q) What do you think it is about this series that has made it such a fast fan favorite?

A) I think it is such a great blend of genres. The first season is an interesting blend of family drama, fantasy and horror and now for the second season we have shifted gears and upped the ante.  I can’t think of another show quite like it.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who are fans and supporters of you and the work you do?

A) Just thank you for watching and supporting our show. It is a pleasure and a privilege to be part of something that people enjoy. And big virtual hugs due to COVID-19. Stay safe!
