Paper straws are the latest craze in eco-friendly alternatives. Co-Founders Anthony Barresi and David Sedacca have taken that idea one step further and created Pasta Life! When paper straws get soggy after ten minutes of sucking, their creation is a creative solution (and better tasting) option.

After working tirelessly to perfect their product, Pasta Life was born – an all natural and gluten-free option for drinking. It is a durable product that is 100% biodegradable within 90 days and derives from plant-based ingredients. Often times paper straws break down in your drink after ten minutes. With Pasta Life, you get at least 30-40 minutes of cold drink sweet sipping. Dave and Anthony began making their straws out of Anthony’s kitchen in April of 2019 and then began taking them to bars and restaurants around New York City where they grew a following. According to Barresi, “Our vision is to bring that mindset to the table and use pasta straws as a way to partner with like-minded people to help tackle our planet’s most pressing environmental issues.”

Hannah Berner, of Bravo TV’s “Summer House” has partnered with Pasta Life to promote this easy to use and colorful creation. Pasta Life straws come in three sizes and are available in eight colors – perfect for poolside. According to Berner, “Pasta Life is my favorite alternative to paper straws. They are so fun to sip from and I love knowing that while I’m sipping on rose, I’m eliminating waste in our oceans in a stylish way!”

We had the opportunity to try Pasta Life for ourselves and found it super durable and long-lasting. It took at least thirty minutes for a soggy straw to begin! Plus, we felt really good about the fact that once we were done with our beverage, the straw was biodegradable – thus, helping the environment!
