Q) How would you describe your sound?

A) I’d say it’s a flashback to early 200’s pop-punk music

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) Nicki Minaj, Good Charlotte, A Day to Remember, All Time Low and Paramore

Q) Talk about the story behind your new song “Bombs Away.”

A) When I first heard Nicki’s track “Last Time I Saw You,” I instantly fell in love with it and decided to recreate it in a rock version. My favorite part was when she sang “Bombs Away” at the end, so I decided to turn that into a chorus and read the track to make it what it is.

Q) What do you think it is about the song that fans connect to?

A) I think people liked a good flashback to a good pop-punk cover, and many of my fans don’t generally listen to Nicki, so many people told me they had never heard the original song before.

Q) Your outfits in the video are EPIC! How did you come up with the looks?

A) Thank you! I’m obsessed with all things Hello Kitty and Kawaii, especially the emo scene in the early 2000s. I hand-stitched my skirt myself and added some fur to my boots. I make many of my outfits for red carpets or special events.

Q) Some of the video is actually shot on a skate ramp. What was that experience like? Were you nervous at all?

A) Yeah, we did half in a studio band room and the rest in a skate park, and we just had a bunch of skaters doing their thing! It was so fun, and the video turned out exactly how I envisioned it in my head.

Q) What is your songwriting process? Do you need music before you can create lyrics?

A) With the original music I’m about to put out, yes, I need to hear the music and come up with a melody. Then, it’s much easier to fill in the blanks with words.

Q) How much of a hand do you have in the production of your music?

A) A huge role. The producers and both create the beats and music. I have to love the beat for me to want to work with it.

Q) With “Bombs Away” out, will there be a full album or EP coming shortly?

A) Yes, hopefully very soon.

Q) Where are some of your favorite places to perform and what makes those locations so significant to you?

A) I haven’t performed yet, but I would LOVE to perform overseas! New York Madison Square would be a dream!

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

A) Nicki Minaj and Good Charlotte are my dream collabs.

Q) What artist/musician are you currently listening to and why do you dig them?

A) Other than the ones I listed, I also listen to a lot of Bring Me the Horizon, Doja Cat and anything before 2010. I also LOVE Latina and Reggaeton music.

Q) You are a part of social media. Why is that such an important way for you to connect with your fans?

A) It’s good to stay connected to the rest of the world and show my fans what’s to come.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) Thank you so much to everyone who’s supported me this far on my debut release! I was shocked and honored to have received so much love from countries abroad, especially places I would never have expected! There is lots of new music in the works and plenty more eye-pleasing visuals to match, so stay tuned!
