Andy (Jaina Lee Ortiz) meets with her aunt Sandra (Laura Cerón), her uncle Johnny (Lombardo Boyar) and her cousin Michelle (Melissa Marty) for a picnic. The family seems to be happy to finally be reunited and regret that they are not able to hug each other properly. Andy thanks them for inviting her and says that they shouldn’t have gone to all the trouble of the arrangements just to see her, but they tell her that they hangout every weekend. Andy realizes that she was just not invited, but says that she understands given the difficult situation that was created by her mother. Her aunt says that she feels sorry that they couldn’t handle it better, but they are happy she is there now with them.

Victoria (Barrett Doss) puts a COVID warning sign at the station while Ben (Jason George) tells Travis (Jay Hayden) and the rest of the team that just because they are feeling good doesn’t mean they are not asymptomatic and encourages them to be more cautious. Victoria asks for Andy and Travis tells her that she is spending some time with her family. Right that moment Jack (Grey Damon) enters the room carrying a basket filled with home-made energy bars and gives one to each one of them. Everyone starts to make fun of him when they realize the energy bars were made by Inara (Colleen Foy) who Miller (Okieriete Onaodowan) refers to as “Jack’s new boo” but he denies it all. A new aid car is requested making everyone ready to split in teams and begin to work.

In the meantime Maya (Danielle Savre) is facetiming Carina (Stefania Spampinato) while trying to convince her to pay her a short visit since it’s been three weeks since the last time they actually saw each other, but the doctor tells her that given that her boss is not seeing her husband either it doesn’t feel right for her to do the opposite. Maya unbuttons her blouse in an attempt to make her change her mind, but then they are interrupted by a knock on the captain’s door. Carina thanks her for being capable of making her laugh even when she is in the middle of a hospital during a pandemic and then they wave their goodbyes.

Sullivan (Boris Kodjoe) is in the middle of a virtual group meeting while texting Andy his best wishes for her meeting with her family when the meeting Leader (Debbie Fan) calls his name and asks him to share his story. He offers a few lines about himself and shows how grateful he is for being sober and clean. Jack is at the gym talking to Inara and saying that everyone loved her energy bars when Maya walks in and start to work out. He ends the call and Maya takes the chance to question him about the girl on the other side of the screen. He says that recently it seems like everyone is just so obsessed with whom he goes out, but Maya tells him that it’s just because his relationships usually end up being a catastrophe for the whole team. He explains that his relationship with Inara has been limited to him buying her groceries and playing with Marcus (Ansel Sluyter-Obidos). He even confesses that he only sees her as a sister, but the captain tells her that the more he denies his feelings the more he risks them to burst in his face. Then, Maya jokingly tells him to go away since he’s ruining her workout and per her “jealous Italian girlfriend” request she should not be alone in a room with him.

Travis and Ben are on their way to attend an emergency call while Ben tries to make some conversation asking Travis if he is close to his parents, something that makes the man a bit uncomfortable. Travis receives a text from his father saying to call his mother and he doesn’t seem to like it. When they arrive to the place from where the call was made they meet with Gavin (Ronald Auguste), a mail man who explains that the woman they need to attend is Mrs. Yvonne Boyd (Suanne Spoke). The woman is lying on the floor while screaming in pain with scratches all over her chest. Ben asks her some questions trying to figure out what happened, but the woman refuses to be treated. Gavin mentions that when he arrived she was calling for “Lorelei,” so Travis takes a walk around the house and finds raw meet in the kitchen table and a pen outside the house. He asks her if she has any exotic animal there. After a while the woman confesses that she has a Bengal Tiger that got scared when she saw the mail man arrive and then it hurt her and ran away. Travis calls for assistance.

Yvonne begs to Ben and Travis to find Lorelei, but Travis says that is the job of Animal Control to do that. The woman’s concerns grow bigger since she believes the tiger will be killed. She still claims that it was not the tiger’s intentions to hurt her and explains that given the pandemic and the shortage of meat Lorelei skipped meals so that is why she was so aggressive.

Andy is catching up with her family and having a lot of fun then, she asks her aunt Sandra to tell her something good about her mother. She confesses that she’s sick of being angry and she really want to let that go. Her aunt tells her that her mother was a dreamer, passionate and impulsive just like her and that she is glad she got all the good stuff from her mom. Unfortunately, her mother was not as committed, courageous and doesn’t have such a good heart as she does.

In the meantime, Sullivan talks to Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) about missing Andy, but the doctor tells him that he needs to remember that his separation from his wife has the intention of him learning to be clean and sober by himself and encourages him to find an actual sponsor that could help him with that. Back at the station Vic seems to be upset about something. When Miller asks her to let it out the woman confesses that she feels hurt that he threw her out of his apartment and replaced her after she took care of him and his daughter. Suddenly, they get a call announcing that they need their assistance since there’s a tiger on the loose.

Vic and Jack are on their way to find Lorelei while the woman tells him that she always thought that she and Miller were the kind of friends that would give a kidney for each other, but now she sees that she was wrong. Jack assures her that Miller cares for her and so does he. Maya and Miller are also looking for the tiger while the woman comes clean to him and says that she misses Carina a lot and regrets that they have to be separated since they were already in such a better state in their relationship. She also confesses that she would love for them to quarantine together which would mean to “moving in” together as it is and she feels that might be some sort of an extreme decision. Miller just says that whatever decision she makes she should be really clear on her intentions since he wasn’t clear about that with Vic and now she feels abandoned and hurt.

Andy and Michelle are having a drink together and catching up with each other. Michelle confesses that she feels her mom loves Andy more than her and that she believes that Sandra is constantly putting on a heteronormative lifestyle to drag her in since she came out. She also lets her cousin know that she truly needed her to be in her life during that time and Andy says that she should have called her and questions her why she never told her the truth. Michelle confesses that she tried and that is the reason why they stopped seeing each other. We are suddenly taken back to a memory of the two of them when a young Michelle (Elizabeth Phoenix Caro) tells to a young Andy (Lalia Susini) that they had seen the kid’s mother the week before, but Andy couldn’t believe it since she knew her mother was dead – something that made her father to take her away from them. Ben is trying to keep Yvonne alive when Travis says that he has just spotted the tiger and asks for support. They manage to find a place where they can take Yvonne to be treated and try to get there as fast as possible.

Back at the park Sandra brings out Andy’s favorite cake and says that they should honor and respect their family. She goes on to say that even though she couldn’t see them, they were always near her and knew about her achievements in life. In the meantime, Yvonne loses her battle before Travis and Ben can make it to the nearest hospital.

At the station Miller tries to joke with Vic about what happened earlier, but the woman is just not in the mood for it. She says that she thought they were family but then he disappointed her. Miller tries to reach for her, but she doesn’t let him and leaves the place. Travis and Ben arrive at the Seattle Grace Hospital with Yvonne’s body. Right that moment Carina comes out of it in a haste looking upset and pacing around. Ben approaches her and she begins to tell him that she lost another mom, the third one in just a month – more than she has ever lost in her entire career and it makes her sad that she was only nineteen years old and due to COVID the mother of her patient could not even say goodbye to her. Sadly she died all alone, as well as her baby ,and now she has to go and face her patient’s parents to tell them the news and she hates the disease and that she has to be all alone. Ben asks her why she and Maya shouldn’t be together and she says that since him and Bailey (Chandra Wilson) are quarantining apart they thought they should do the same. However, he makes her come to her senses by saying that if it was by him they would be together, but they have to take care of their sons – something that her and Maya doesn’t have to worry about. He encourages to go get her and be happy. Later, Travis and Ben talk about Yvonne and her decision to keep a tiger inside her house. It ends up with Travis saying that he saw his father on a gay dating app and how the whole situation made him feel.

Miller and Jack discuss about the tiger when they see her coming into the barn. Miller yells to Vic to not to go outside, but the woman gets upset at the yelling and by the time she realizes it she is face to face with Lorelei. Maya and Jack try to help her while Miller distracts the tiger by throwing pieces of raw meet at her. When Vic is finally safe, she runs to hug Miller. Later, everyone is watching as the Animal Protection comes in and takes the tiger. Maya gets a call from and walks to her office while confirming that everything is in order now and is unaware that Carina enters the room right after her. When she hangs up, she turns around and sees her girlfriend standing there.

Carina tells her that she has something for her and Maya asks her right then to move in with her and that she knows that although they have barely spent time together since she broke her trust. She wants to prove her that she all invested in the relationship. Carina says that it’s curious that she has come to ask her the same thing and then she shows two packages of “Covid Rapid Test” and asks her to do each other’s.

Sullivan gets a call from Dr. Webber (James Pickens Jr.) who subtly offers himself to be his sponsor and to break the ice he says he would start by sharing his own story. Andy is still having a good time with her cousin and confesses that she just remembered the last day they saw each other. Then, her aunt and uncle call them and ask them to join them for a dance. Andy suddenly recalls a time when she was waiting for her father at the station and her uncle Snuffy (Peter Onorati) asked her for a dance as well. She is then brought back to the present and decides to join her family and dance along with them.
