Kirsten Clark (Emma Ishta) comes into Camille Engelson’s (Allison Scagliotti) room and they apologize to each other for their previous fight.  Kirsten tells Camille that Cameron (Kyle Harris) screwed her and Camille remarks that it’s about time.  She corrects her and explains that Cameron betrayed her with Maggie (Salli Richardson-Whitfield), by telling Maggie the location of her mother.  Camille can’t believe that Kirsten didn’t tell her about her mother, but Kirsten tells her that she didn’t want to put her in danger. Camille tells Kirsten to break her foot off in Cameron’s ass and then press Maggie for her mother’s new location.  She then tells her to break her foot off in Cameron’s ass again and reminds her that she has two feet.

Cameron and Linus (Ritesh Rajan) play video games and Cameron justifies telling Maggie about Kirsten’s mother.  Linus agrees, but points out that he violated Kirsten’s trust and tells him to start apologizing.  Cameron asks Linus how things are going with Ivy Brown (Sarah Davenport) and he tells him that he hasn’t heard from her.  Kirsten barges into Maggie’s office and demands to know her mother’s new location.  She insists that she’s keeping it a secret for her own good, but Kirsten declares that nobody gets to decide how her story ends but her.  Cameron tells her to wait, but Kirsten says that she won’t wait for him as she storms out of the office.  Maggie tells Cameron that he did the right thing and she’ll come around.

Maggie shares the details of the newest victim, Jake Rowland (Drew Fonteiro), found dead in a Mars simulation lab.  As Maggie continues with the details, Linus gets a text from Ivy asking to meet.  Detective Quincy Fisher (Damon Dayoub) asks if there were any security cameras, but Maggie tells him that the ones in the simulator were off.  As they prepare for the stitch, Linus asks Camille if she’s okay and she admits that she’s having girl problems.  Linus tells her that he is as well and she snarkily says that they’re twins.  Annoyed, Linus tells Camille that he was hoping that she would support him but that she isn’t the one.  Camille apologizes and asks if he’s heard from Ivy.  He tells her about the text and Camille believes that them talking will be good.

In the stitch, Kenny Lee (Eugene Shaw) asks Jake how to fix the problem that Jake created.  Kirsten is then pulled into a memory of a video game tournament and describes a sign on the wall to help identify the location.  A girl named Zelda (Zelda Williams) yells at Jake.  Kirsten then sees Jake with a black eye.  Cameron asks if she’s projecting her feelings towards him, and she responds that Jake only has one black eye.  Kirsten sees Jake playing the video game in his office at work and is shot as he leaves.  She sees Jake crawl back into the simulator and traces a message into the sand.  Kirsten bounces before she can see the message and Camille shows them the crime scene photos where the message is covered up by Jake’s blood.

Maggie suggests that Kirsten take Cameron to the simulator, but Kirsten decides to take Fisher instead.  Cameron tells Maggie that the situation won’t blow over and that she should tell Kirsten her mother’s location.  Maggie tells him that she won’t knowingly put any of them in danger and ends the discussion.  Ivy tries to apologize for ignoring Linus, but he wishes she would just tell him that she’s not interested in him.  She tells him that she was going to tell him that, but she just can’t do it.  She tells him that he is awesome and that she wants to be with him.  Linus doesn’t believe her, but she kisses him to prove that she means it.

Fisher and Kirsten arrive at the facility and Mark Fleming (Darien Sills-Evans) greets them.  He tells them that Jake took their satellite offline and that there will be problems if they can’t get it back online.  The government wants to self-destruct the satellite if it’s not back on in 48 hours and Kirsten offers their help in bringing it back online.  Fleming explains to Kirsten and Fisher that Jake was a paid gremlin that purposefully messed with things so that the fixer could fix them and prepare them for any possible situation.  He introduces them to the fixer, Kenny, who answers Kirsten’s questions by stating that his relationship with Jake was professional.  Kenny is frustrated with the satellite and snaps at Fisher and Kirsten’s questions.  Kirsten suggests that their communications engineer look at the satellite, despite Kenny’s objections.

Kirsten tells Linus that he’s needed and Linus is excited to fix the satellite.  Fisher tells Maggie that Jake was involved in competitive video gaming and Cameron shows them a photo of him winning a video game tournament years ago.  Camille gives Kirsten the address of the location she saw in the stitch, an abandoned auto warehouse.  Kirsten asks Camille to go with her, but Cameron suggests he go since he’s familiar with gaming tournaments.  Camille invites herself to go with Linus forcing Kirsten to bring Cameron.  Fleming introduces Kenny to Linus and Camille, but he’s not happy to see them.  Kenny and Linus try to one-up each other with technological knowledge and Camille remarks that she doesn’t speak pissing contest with Kenny asks for her input.

Maggie invites Fisher into her office, and shows him pictures of Ivy talking to Stinger, telling Fisher that she hired a P.I. to follow Ivy.  Linus gets frustrated with Camille and leaves the facility.  Outside, Camille asks about Ivy and he tells her that they’re back on track.  Camille makes a comment and Linus remarks that he thought that she had gotten past her distrust of Ivy.  Camille reminds him that he was also distrustful of Amanda Weston (Anna Akana).  She tells him that she’s trying to protect all of them and Linus asks her who asked her to do that.  He tells her to stay out of his relationship, and then apologizes for yelling at her.  He asks about Amanda, and Camille realizes that they need her help with the case.

Cameron and Kirsten arrive at the warehouse and find a video game tournament underway.  Kirsten identifies Zelda and Rick DelToro (Michael Masini) from the stitch and tells Cameron that she’s going to look around.  Going into a deserted office, she looks at files off a laptop.  She reports to Cameron that the place is making thousands of dollars, that Jake recently won a bunch of matches against Zelda, and that the place has no Internet access.  Cameron says that he’ll stay and check it out, and she leaves.  He tells her that she can’t stay mad at him forever, and she tells him that his challenge is accepted.

Zelda is declared the winner of the match-up and sits next to Cameron.  He introduces himself and asks about the game.  She tells him that the game is called Warzone and that nobody knows who developed it.  Rick asks for a challenger to a man named D.K. (Aaron Aguilera) and tells Cameron to come up.  Zelda wishes him luck and he defeats D.K.  Rick declares him the winner, but D.K. punches him and accuses him of cheating.  Cameron talks to Zelda about the tournament and casually asks Zelda about Jake.  She tells him that she didn’t like Jake very much, but he was a good competitor.  Rick comes over and asks Cameron to come back and he agrees.  As Cameron walks away, Rick tells Zelda to find out what she can about Cameron.

Ivy calls Linus to confirm their plans.  As she steps out the house she is stopped and brought into custody.  Fisher and Maggie question Ivy about her contact with Stinger.  She denies it, but Maggie shows her the pictures.  She declares that she wants a lawyer and that she refused to help him.  Maggie is still suspicious, and Fisher tells Ivy that whatever happens next is up to her.  Linus struggles with the satellite and Kenny gets angry with him.  Camille arrives with Amanda and shows her the bloody sand before she gets to work.  Maggie comments on Cameron’s black eye and Kirsten asks if Zelda did that to him.  He tells her that she is the only girl that wants to punch him and that he’s going back later to continue his investigation.  Cameron asks if she’s a little concerned for him and she tells him to be careful since he’s no good to her dead.

In the second stitch, Kirsten sees Jake and Zelda arguing and she accuses him of cheating.  Back at Jake’s office, Kirsten sees him playing the game on his computer and sees his login password.  Kirsten is transported to a memory of Jake collecting his money at the tournament.  She sees Jake put up a satellite on a rooftop.  She then sees Kenny yelling at Jake for not telling him what he did with the rover and Jake assures Kenny that Fleming is not going to fire him before kissing him.  The team arrives at the simulator and Amanda shows them that she was able to figure out the message Jake wrote in the sand, a symbol.  Kirsten was hoping for a name like Zelda, but Cameron tells her that he has a vibe that Zelda didn’t kill Jake.  Kirsten follows Cameron, who tells her that they can’t keep fighting.  She admits that she doesn’t like being mad at him, but she doesn’t know how to stop.  She tells him not to do anything stupid before she figures it out.

Kenny is not happy to see them and asks Kirsten what her superpower is.  She tells him that death is her superpower.  Camille asks Amanda if she can call her later, but she tells her that they should keep their relationship professional since they are on different planets.  After she leaves, Kenny tells them that the satellite will self-destruct soon and Kirsten asks to see Jake’s office.  Kenny shows it to the, and Kirsten logs in to Jake’s computer and pulls up the game.  Camille finds several versions of the game and realizes that Jake is the creator of the game.  Linus finds that one of the versions was recently modified with an encrypted message.  Linus realizes that the satellite was not off, but its focus was transferred to the warehouse.

Cameron prepares for his match against Zelda and she takes his wallet.  She shows Rick Cameron’s NSA badge and he grabs a gun as she leaves.  Kirsten tells Cameron that he needs win the game in order to unlock Jake’s message.  Zelda warns Cameron that Rick knows that he is NSA, but he refuses to leave.  Cameron loses the first two rounds of the match and tells Zelda that he needs to win before the start of the third.  She warns him that the computer will take over if she forfeits and Cameron tells her that they need to beat the computer.  Zelda forfeits, and takes Cameron’s controller.  She beats the game and a keypad comes up.  Kirsten shows him the pattern Jake drew in the sand and he enters it to reveal a video from Jake.  He identifies himself at the game creator and tells everyone that Rick took advantage of him.  Rick pulls out his gun, but D.K. hits him with a barrel.  Fisher arrests Rick, and Zelda comments to Cameron that Jake would have liked him.

Kirsten admits that Cameron was right about Zelda and Cameron apologizes for betraying her trust.  He admits that he doesn’t want to lose her, but he doesn’t know how to fix this.  Ivy comes over and tells Kirsten that she needs a friend.  Kirsten admits that she does as well and they sit together on the porch.
