The episode begins with the scene of Earth-90s from the previous week. In the present, Dr. John Deegan (Jeremy Davies) is teaching a class. He discusses how some people are just born lucky. Eugenic Science is what he wants to use to change that, but one person disapproves this and gets up to leave. John is angry and once outside he slams his bag down only to be called by the man that had the book on Earth-90. He destroys Deegan’s car and then gives him the book. He tells Deegan to use the book to reshape reality. He hands Deegan the book and it begins to glow with blue matter into the air. He leaves with words of advice, “Think big.”

The sky is red as we scan over the West-Allen loft. Iris (Candice Patton) is calling out for breakfast as the real Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) wakes up in the bed confused. He walks out to see a picture of him and Iris sitting the table. Iris walks over, gives him a kiss and sits his breakfast down. A confused Oliver asks, “What if Barry could’ve seen that?” and “Where’s Barry?” Iris starts talking about their big bad and Oliver is completely confused because Iris just called him Barry. She asks him what’s wrong and he tells her that he didn’t get enough sleep. She thinks it might be because of her cooking, but he says that it smells delicious. Iris suggests fake Barry ask for a day off, but instead he suggests going into S.T.A.R. Labs. She laughs and makes a joke. Iris gets an alert about a break-in. She tells him she’ll meet him at S.T.A.R. Labs. Oliver gets up and tries out his powers for the first time. Before Iris leaves, she runs back in with The Flash ring. Oliver puts the ring on and holds it up. The suit flies out and he flashes into it. He turns and looks at the mirror saying, “Oh, Barry. What have you done this time?”

Oliver flashes down to the crime scene to help, but passes the building and has to turn around. He makes it to the building, but isn’t quite sure what to do. He goes to reach for his bow and arrow, but realizes he’s The Flash now. He starts saying things that the Green Arrow would say as Cisco (CArlos Valdes) tries to direct him. He gets thrown by one of the gunmen and gets up realizing that he’s in Flash-time. Everything is slowed down, so he takes this opportunity to run around and do that lighting throw. He struggles with getting it correct and accidentally strikes a machine that releases a robot.

Back at S.T.A.R. Labs, Caitlin’s (Danielle Panabaker) checking over Oliver and she finds nothing wrong. Iris is happy about that and starts to talk about how his abs are all hers, but Oliver tells her to lay off of the public displays of affection. Ralph (Hartley Sawyer) says that he always talks about how he says that touch is their love language. Cisco thinks that it’s about him not being over Cynthia, but he tells him that he’ll be okay. Oliver walks off saying he’s going to think at home, but the team follows him. They notice he’s acting strange, so he tells them he’s going to go see “Oliver Queen”– someone who may better understand what he’s going through.

John Diggle (David Ramsey) and the real Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) are training. He asks if they redecorated the bunker and Diggle just says, “Oliver, you’ve been to ARGUS a million times.” Barry catches that and then he starts to really fight. He then realizes that he’s Oliver Queen– the Green Arrow.

Barry’s tells Diggle that he needs to make a call to S.T.A.R. Labs. They get an alert about a weapons and cash being in the Glades and Diggle asks for some help. Barry declines at first, but then decides to help. Diggle gives him the suit, but he doesn’t know how to put it on.

They make it down to the Glades and start beating up the bad guys. Before one of them can attack Diggle, The Flash zooms in and grabs both of them. The real Barry tells the real Oliver that he is glad to see him.

Barry is having fun on the salmon bars while Oliver is trying to figure out what happened to them. He pulls up pictures of them that have their faces switched in Barry’s wedding photo and in a paper with the Mayor. Barry thinks it’s kind of cool, but Oliver comments that he’ll think it’s cooler when he wakes up in his own bed. Barry catches that comment and when it’s confirmed that Oliver woke up in bed with Iris, he yells that they have to get this fixed right now!

Sherloque (Tom Cavanagh) is trying to straighten out what Oliver and Barry think is going on with them. Caitlin asks if Barry time traveled again and the real Barry Allen answers, causing everyone else to tell them they weren’t asking him. Caitlin does a brain scan on him and says that everything is fine. Iris tells them that this is ridiculous and looks at Oliver and says that she knows she would never be with Oliver Queen because he’s not her type. The real Barry Allen takes offense to that and asks Iris if she really doesn’t believe him. Sherloque calls a team meeting without fake Barry.

Barry and Oliver are trying to figure out what to do next. Barry says they just need to get Iris on board. Barry tells Oliver that all he has to do is tell her how much he cares about her and to tell her she’s his lightning rod. Oliver laughs at that and walks off to talk to Iris. When he gets there, she asks if he really thinks he’s Oliver Queen. She starts to tell him about how Felicity called her when Oliver was in prison. He ended up there because he cut a deal behind Felicity’s back and now she’s hurting because of how it happened. Iris says that Oliver’s life is completely defined by anger and vengeance. She tells him how lucky she is to have Barry in her life. Oliver tries to sway her and asks if she isn’t the least bit worried. She tells him that she is worried and thinks that it could be possible and Oliver starts to pass out. The drink that he took a sip of was spiked with nanites. Barry’s been in the other room the whole time and sees what just happened, so he turns to leave. Just as he turns, Ralph punches him in the face knocking him out.

Barry and Oliver wake up in a cell in the pipeline. Barry starts yelling that they need to convince everybody that they’re not crazy. Oliver says that everyone on earth thinks that they’re each other. Barry gets the idea that if they can get to Earth-38 they may be able to tell Kara what happened and get help because things may not have changed on other earths. Oliver asks how they’re going to get out of the cell.

Cisco tries to contact A.R.G.U.S., but is unable to because of the excessive amount of red skies and yellow lightning. The lights start to flicker and Cisco hears a voice say, “You’re best off giving up now.” He then vibes the man who gave Deegan the book.

Oliver’s complaining about the cells not having toilets, but Barry pops one out. Barry realizes that he wants to back up the toilet so that it fries the system. Oliver tells Barry to dislocate his thumb to get out of the cuff. He does it and backs up the systems. Barry then tells Oliver that he’s going to have to phase them out of the cell. After explaining to him what that is, Oliver finally gets the gist of it and phases out of his cuffs. He places his hand on the wall and phases through with Barry barely grabbing on.

They go to look for the extrapolator, but are caught by Iris who has it in her hands. She tells them that she can’t let them escape. Real Barry tries to persuade her otherwise. He says that somewhere inside she knows that he’s the real Barry Allen. Iris looks from Oliver to Barry hesitantly. Real Barry starts to tell her of a memory when he first moved in and how she responded that she believed him. He says she always believes him and he needs her to do it again. Barry tells Iris that she is his lightning rod and Iris’ eyes fill with tears. She gives Barry the extrapolator and tells them to move quickly before she changes her mind. Barry leaves, telling Iris that he promises to fix this.

The men head off and we arrive at the Kent farm. Clark (Tyler Hoechlin) and Lois (Elizabeth Tulloch) are working on the truck. Lois asks for Kara (Melissa Benoist) to back her up, but Kara doesn’t want to get into the middle of it. Lois tries to persuade her by connecting her with their journalism backgrounds. Clark says that people will question Lois leaving for so long if she goes to Argo, but she just says that she’ll makes something up. He makes a joke about it, but Lois says that he can’t really say much because he writes about his own adventures as Superman. Lois leaves Kara and Clark to catch up.

Kara and Clark are discussing what happened at with her getting released from the D.E.O. Clark apologizes for leaving, but Kara says that seeing Argo was a good thing for him. Clark’s about to tell her something, but they hear Lois screaming from the barn. She’s holding up a hammer as Barry and Oliver appear. Kara recognizes Barry and Oliver for their actual selves. Kara introduces them to Clark and Lois. She asks why they didn’t think they’d be recognized and Oliver shows her how he’s the one with speed now.

Back in Central City on Earth-1, the robot is destroying a facility. Ralph and Killer Frost get knocked out of the way and while they’re down, the robot obtains their powers and flies off.

Oliver’s trying to train Barry on how to better shoot arrows, but Barry’s tired of it. Oliver thinks he needs actual combat training. Barry then suggests that Oliver run so he can try to hit him with an arrow, but Oliver doesn’t see pass his plan and asks where the hidden arrows are. Barry tells him there aren’t any because he isn’t like Oliver, so Oliver decides to do as Barry asked. Kara, Clark and Lois watch on. Oliver runs out into the field and Barry shoots the arrow. Oliver catches it, but there were hidden mechanical arrows so those proceed to shoot Oliver in the back. Barry is ecstatic about this and jumps up and down, mentioning that he waited four years to do this. He takes the arrows out of Oliver’s back, but not without getting a picture first. Oliver is angry and starts yelling at how Barry isn’t taking his skills seriously. Barry tells him to calm down because he was a better sport when it happened to him. Oliver tells Barry to try to get one hit in at him, but Barry says that’s not how he trains. Oliver then sarcastically says, “Oh, you train? I thought your powers just fell from the sky.” Barry says that he’s not going to let Oliver get a rise out of him and Oliver continues to talk about how Barry can’t do anything without having his wife in his ear. Barry comes back at him saying that Oliver’s wife is the one that “invented quarterbacking.” Oliver continues and when Barry starts to walk off Oliver charges at him, but gets knocked over by Barry. He tells Oliver that if he really knew how to use his speed then Barry wouldn’t have been able to lay a finger on him.

In Earth-1 Central City, they’ve identified what attacked them at Argo Labs and figured out how it stole their powers. Ralph says that they can’t let Flash and Green Arrow go without a fight, but Sherloque and Iris walk in. They know that she let them out and she explains how she knew she was talking to Barry and not Oliver when she was talking to who she thought to be Oliver Queen. Cisco believes her and tells them about who he vibed. The get another alert about Amazo, the robot, and we see him scan a building downtown.

Barry and Oliver talk on the Kent porch about how they channel their powers. Barry tells them that instead of being angry he chooses to be happy. They realize that in order for them to be each other, they should act like each other. After Kara comes out Cisco breaches in. He tells them that they believe them and they need help back on Earth-1. Barry, Kara, Oliver and Clark all arrive in downtown Central City to take on Amazo. They try to keep him off balance before he can replicate their abilities, but just as they think he’s gone he flies up and quickly scans him for their powers. Sherloque tells them that Amazo’s just a computer so all they have to do is turn it off. While the heroes continue to fight, the Flash team tries to figure out how to get him to stop. Iris suggests that if Amazo has their powers that maybe it has their weaknesses, too. They use that against him and successfully hold him down while Barry shoots an arrow into its eye.

At S.T.A.R. Labs everyone is suggesting that the body swapping may not be so bad. When Sherloque says that no one would be too worried if they don’t switch back, Iris cuts him off saying that they need to figure this out and get things back to normal. Clark decides to head back to Earth-38.

Barry asks Iris if she’s alright as he walks out onto the balcony. She tells him no, but asks at what cost did he do a great job with Amazo. She tells him that the reason she let them go was because she stopped looking with her eyes and started listening with her heart. Iris realized that Barry Allen will always be the man that she loves. Barry tells her that he will always show her his true face. Iris tells Barry to promise her that even though he’s the Green Arrow, she doesn’t want him to become Oliver Queen. He agrees as he grabs her hand. Cisco calls him away to the workshop.

Cisco tells the three of them what he saw and then gives Barry and Oliver a chance to see it. The man in the vision says that none of them can stop what’s about to happen. Oliver quickly draws a picture of what they saw and says he knows where to find him. They’re going to Gotham City. We then see Gotham City with what looks to be Batwoman (Ruby Rose) on top of a building.
