Top 3 TV Moments – August 16 – August 21

Each week I’ll be picking the best drama, comedy or reality TV and sci-fi/fantasy moments from the shows of the prior week. They may sometimes be equipped with some of your favorite ships or tear-jerking moments. So, keep reading if you are still not over what happened on your favorite TV show this week!

Drama: Wynonna Earp, “Afraid” – The end to a beginning.

Rachel (Martina Ortiz-Luis) and Billy (Billy Bryk) had a rough night. After finally getting the courage to tell Billy how she felt, things quickly turned chaotic and tragic. Right now it seems that things are still up in the air and not so easily solved as it could be. So, I hope these two are able to figure it out together soon!

Comedy/Reality TV: American Dad, “Businessly Brunette” – The mother’s effect.

Francine (Wendy Schaal) and Hayley (Rachael MacFarlane) enter into a work battle after Francine laughs at Hayley wanting to be a business woman. But the part that brings them together is learning that the only reason Francine said those things was because her mom said them to her when she was younger. It’s a trickle down effect in the worst way and hopefully it won’t continue down their bloodline.

Sci-fi/Fantasy: Lucifer, “Really Sad Devil Guy” – Only for a moment.

Lucifer (Tom Ellis) and Chloe (Lauren German) finally reunited in the premiere episode! But it was only for a moment. We could see how Chloe was taking Lucifer’s absence— it was not good no matter how hard she tried to hide it. She had that moment of relief in the apartment, but was this the man that she had loved before his disappearance? We’ll have to wait and see.
