Top 3 TV Moments – July 4 – July 9

Each week I’ll be picking the best drama, comedy or reality TV and sci-fi/fantasy moments from the shows of the prior week. They may sometimes be equipped with some of your favorite ships or tear-jerking moments. So, keep reading if you are still not over what happened on your favorite TV show this week!

Drama: Gossip Girl, “Just Another Girl on MTA” – Let the lies, deception, and scandals begin.

After devising a plan to meet each other at school, Julien Calloway (Jordan Alexander) and Zoya Lott (Whitney Peak) enjoy a great first interaction before everything quickly blows up in their faces. When Julien decides to change their plans on how to get the drama to die down, they have a huge blowout. I loved watching them go from loving each other to quickly getting messy. The dynamic between the sisters is good and that fight showed many sides of the girls that I’m ready to see more of soon!

Comedy/Reality TV: Grown-ish, “Ugh, those feels again” – Marriage and chaos!

Grown-ish came back with one of the most chaotic episodes they’ve aired yet. Zoey (Yara Shahidi) and Aaron (Trevor Jackson) decided to end the episode by doing the most chaotic thing out of all of them and get married. They’ve only been officially dating for a little while and, while watching their cute moments was enjoyable, they really just made a huge decision on a whim. I wonder how it will affect them for the rest of the season. I’m here for whatever they have planned and I loved watching every bit of them being happy, carefree and together!

Sci-fi/Fantasy: Biohackers, “Awake” – Where am I?

Mia (Luna Wedler) opened the season in pure confusion and a loss of four months from her memory. The opening grasped me immediately and had me wanting to know how things were going to get fixed. Seeing Mia run through the city and encounter people who had no clue who she was or what she was looking for.
