Top 3 TV Moments – June 14 – June 19

Each week I’ll be picking the best drama, comedy or reality TV and sci-fi/fantasy moments from the shows of the prior week. They may sometimes be equipped with some of your favorite ships or tear-jerking moments. So, keep reading if you are still not over what happened on your favorite TV show this week!

Drama: I May Destroy You, “Someone is Lying” – I trust no one.

Everything finally hits Arabella (Michaela Coel) when she takes her story to the authorities. She breaks down in tears as she’s describing the events that may or may not be memories. She struggles to come to terms with everything that happened because she can’t get any concrete information from herself or the friends that were with her. It’s all a twisty situation and right now I trust no one. Simon’s (Aml Ameen) story has too many holes and everyone else seems just as confused. This show is truly great and something different for the summertime. I am definitely ready for more.

Comedy/Reality TV: Love, Victor, “Sweet Sixteen” – “No. I won’t.”

Victor (Michael Cimino) tells his grandfather and father that he won’t make Benji (George Sear) and his boyfriend leave. This moment felt like a small liberating moment in Victor’s journey. He’s still trying to figure out his sexuality for himself and getting the chance to stand his ground when it concerned his friends was a way for him to stand up for himself as well. I really liked this moment because it also gave everyone else an opportunity to speak for themselves. We got to see the party continue without the scene being cut and so many things being left unsaid.

Sci-fi/Fantasy: The Order, “Free Radicals, Part 1” – They’re back and angrier than before.

Jack (Jake Manley), Gabrielle (Louriza Tronco), Randall (Adam DiMarco), Hamish (Thomas Elms) and Diego (Ian Tracey) got their memories back and are now have a lust for revenge. They don’t like their minds have been played with, rightfully so, and are ready to gain back the power they possessed before. In the final moments of the Season 2 premiere episode they all stood in black with determination in their eyes. I’m sure the rest of the season will be deadly.
